wow def jux… i’m surprised those rappers are still around. were so many sprouting around in the early 2000s, then last i saw they were all imploding on each other when cage ditched the high and mighty, el-p and copywrite went at esoteric, copywrite thought dame dash was gonna sign him or some shit and got beat up by some dude in philly, cage released an album a couple years ago that was downright emo too. surprised they didn’t just fall off the face of the earth.
what’s worse too is rating some of these guys over eminem who had a legitimate career and classic albums, not some dudes who got a little bit of recognition off guest appearances and cult hit singles (cage - agent orange, evidence - re/work the angles, el p - end to end burners, high and mighty - b boy document) eminem was a great rapper, these guys are footnotes.
