Unfortunately or fortunately for Hurricane Chris,Mims, and Soulja boy ringtone rap is hot right now. These guys don't have staying power. If you talk to most of the kids that buy their music or listen to it, they admit that it sucks. They buy it for the single so they can dance to it. Flo Rida broke a record shout out to him but he didn't get that way by bringing something new to the game. Let's see what he's doing this time next year. When Ginuwine has to strip at Bachelorette parties because he can' t sell records, it's a crazy world. Kanye is a great example of somebody who's bringing it to the game as far as creativity to a certain level and still selling records. I do agree that Peedi really did get " the short end of the stick", Pause. He definitely has star power and the tone of his voice and his cadence alone could sell a lot of records.
