@buddyholly on 2pac wigga phenomenon - I think they liked Pac cause he was so “thug” but then was so easily excessable for the MTV audience you know. same way everyone likes 50, and Jay, etc. its the appeal of possibly being a tough ass street thug (which he wasnt) but then having mainstream raps that talked about some money, chicks, and sometimes switching it up with songs with deep stuff about himself, you know us crackers like our deep thoughts/feelings type music. His contradictive nature and the trouble he got into, he had that slight rock star status I guess. I thought dude was a decent rapper, def not GOAT, but he was good…I actually liked his earlier stuff.
