^Actually, I’m expectin’ for this album to be a big difference. Especially with H.C.I.C. gone, he should be focusing more on the music rather than the politics. Oh, and the beats were suspect on the last album too. Definitely need to holla at some other producers, get some soul on that mofo.

Yeah, Ike, UMC’s… Blue Cheese, One To Grow On, Time To Set It Straight… that was my music back in the day.

The second album, Unleashed, they came out trying to do the Timb’s and Hood’s thing (BCC had just hit through Black Moon and Smif N Wessun so EVERYBODY suddenly went gutter). It’s a shame, because that first album had that KMD-type of feel, and I like that kind of sound.

@ MTF..I don’t know what I think about it- I mean, the tracks where he rhymes are heat, of course, but I think that he goes a little too far, with the 8 minute instrumentals and shit….it feels like something’s missing-he shoulda rhymed more- I meant, whenever the instrumentals kick in (and nobody else is in the car), I just start freestyling- I think it will grow on me eventually, but I definitely understand why his label shelved this particular project…some of that ish sounds like it shoulda been on the Love Jones soundtrack, or something like that, lol…

For some reason, they didn’t put extra security on him the second time. He overpowered the hospital security guards and took someone’s gun. Shot an old man in the head, car jacked him…Shot at other officers. so on and so on.

Dude already had a life sentence + 40 years. Even if he comes back to life from the officers killing him, he’s got 40 years to go.

yeah. The key is to make something that exists more convenient. Or to merge two existing technologies (ie windows media player + google searching = youtube, or blackplanet + whatever = myspace) and sell the shit to someone that can use it to add to their arsenal of similar products for $200, $300 million and you’re done.
