like dude R.A., I havent heard alot form him, but he is dope with the lyrics. def got the wigga style on lock but anyways, still I dont feel him saying that you gotta be underground and not sell over alot of albums, and not have alot of people at your concerts, and be NY grimey 909′s style (like how his persona and how he is) to be hip hop and be a true head…if thats like that then I say over half the people in hip hop, mc’s, producers, business associates, label people, writers, vidoe directors, etc etc are not hip hop and dont understand and know it.

that’s something I’ve actually been thinking about for a minute. even before I had Nah Right, people would always tell me that I should be on radio with my “fakely deep” voice and what not. or maybe I’ll do a Juan Epstein like podcast or something. then there’s this site that lets you do online radio show and gives you a number so people can call up live. He went on and on about how most LA rappers are scared of SD, and how Primo charges 25 g’s for a beat, 12 up front, and if you aren’t feeling the beat (who wouldn’t though…) he keeps the cash and you’re assed out.

From my understanding:
Iraq = Lefrak City (USA building is his block)
Kuwait = Queensbridge
So on & so forth..I think BK = Lebanon…

“The fraudulent video hoax that has surfaced of an alleged female lover of Remy Ma is completely false and reps for Remy Ma emphatically deny these claims. The staged video and storyline, as well as the voice on the phone posing as Remy are all fictitious and have made it very obvious that this is a deliberate attempt to undermine Remy’s name and character. Remy Ma has not nor has she ever been involved in a same sex relationship with the accuser or any other woman however Remy is respectful of those who choose the alternative lifestyle. Again, this video and claim are both 100% untrue and we hope that the involved accusers are aware of the civil liberties violated in the taping of this video.â€

yo I was thinking the same about that MOP track, that’s a tease right there…that’s a slept on album right there though, Termanology and Reks hold it down when the big dogs aren’t guest starring…

I gotta admit that Melvyn Flint joint by NORE is fuckin horrible. Fuckin. Horrible. Dude was nice in War Report but other than that I don’t rate him.
What up though Nahggers?
December 18th, 2007 at 7:55 pm
I know man why can’t Curtis give MOP some shine? Not even a feature? A hook? A remix? All their features are fire…that’s the energy G-Unit music lacks these days imo, bring some rawness to the table. People are starving for some real “aggressive content”

@ Digi:
I only know what Nore says in interviews. HE said:
Lefrak City = Iraq. And The USA buildin was where him & Iman Thug lived.
He said Kuwait = QB.
That was meant to be the whole concept of The War Report.
Shit. It all makes sense now Im sayin it…

Rex I saw Pharoah Monche with MOP at the 4th and b, a couple of years ago…….MOP killed that shit

MOP was on the GRODT soundtrack…they had that banger with 50 on the chrous…
and they been on g-unit radio mixtapes too..
but yeah i don’t know what’s up with them…. maybe it’s Interscopes fault… I don’t think Interscope is just gonna put out projects cause 50 says so anymore…

>>while Beanie Sigel’s The Solution is estimated to move 38,900 CDs.
^^that sucks for Beans… I guess he had already figured that out, when he was up there at hot97…
Why doesn’t Jay do another Roc mic tour…get some of the roc boys out there across the country, put some money in there pockets…like beans, Free, young chris, bleek, tru…and have him and Kanye headline…
December 18th, 2007 at 8:06 pm

^^
Because Jay doesnt care…
Ghostface aint even got a video yet. SMH.
December 18th, 2007 at 8:07 pm
Damn…I lost on that show. I skip shows at the 4th & B, I’ve had too many dope shows wasted by their wack-as-fuck soundsystem (DJ Quik, Rae & Ghost, Slum Village etc. etc. etc.)
December 18th, 2007 at 8:07 pm
It’s going to be a loss for Hov when Budden’s MM3 sales more than these recent Roc-a-fella releases…
could you believe if MM3 sold like 50-75k or something like that…. that’d be crazy.. and a big W for Budden

Wu-tang only had 45,000?!?! Damn, I think the general buying public has given up on purchasing hip-hop albums since the Kanye/50 fiasco. Only Jay has had decent numbers since then…

thanks. it seems pretty clear that p-tone is kinda tight with his money. he uses tons of no-name producers or underground cats like doom so his overhead isnt as high. its a damn good thing he has such a brilliant ear for beats!

^^ true… I seen alot of older artists do that… Cam’ron started doing that too, after he left the Roc…
some rappers are just like”fuck it, i’ll cut my losses and take what I can get” rather put more money behind the project and try and end up failing and losing alot of money…
December 18th, 2007 at 8:23 pm
just imagine the kind of money he has. i respect that he doesnt really talk about it as much as some rappers and at least when he does he has flavor. i mean, he co-produced every wu record as well as his own ghost projects you know? and when he does show off his jewelry its something ridiculous like a goddamn arm-eagle and frisbee sized necklace! the guy is hilarious!

^^How big is that in real terms though? Is that about a pint? If so good work Thor. I was drinkin Stella whilst watchin a film with me chick last night. Went to see ‘Into The Wild’. Fucking amazing film, I encourage everyone to go and see it. It’s not your normal run of the mill US blockbuster type films though. Requires a bit of brain activity whilst watching it. Thoroughly recommended by me though.
December 18th, 2007 at 9:00 pm
a pint is 16 ounces, so thats a bit more than a pint. your average can of soda is 12 ounces, so nearly double that and you got it. couple of those and a shot of don julio silver got me started and kept me going for a bit. into the wild sounds good — sean penn directing cant hurt and the kid in the movie was fantastic in a flick called “the dangerous lives of altar boys” from a few years back.

^^Yeah but there’s a difference between a pint in the US and a pint in the UK isn’t there? I thought the UK ones were bigger? Maybe I’m just talkin bollocks.
