Because of Nelly’s success, artists like Chingy was able to put songs like “Right Thurr” and then J-Kwon “Tipsy”. “Hood Hop” was probably the last O-K track to be released from that region. Because after “Get Your Eagle On” that shit was a wrap. That’s why that ninja took a vacay and decided to enjoy his money because it aint no reboundin’ from that (well, with the exception of Tip Drill being the greatest video on Uncut… and the runner’s up being Luda’s “Pussy Poppin” and 50’s “Shake That Ass” *pause* video).

^You forget that the East Coast is heavily populated and influenced by West Indians. From Northern VA to The Bean. Damn near all major cities between those two points have areas that have their own “little Jamaica.” I think my first introduction to Dancehall was Shabba’s “Ting-a-ling-a-ling”. Coulda been music prior to that, but that’s as far back as I can remember.

Too much for me to even begin…can you understand patois? If not, theres no poin tof me even posting any new dancehall…it’d probably be too fast for you to understand. Dancehall has now been fused with UK Grime, so the pace is a bit nuts if you aint Jamaican…
