I’m actually impressed (pause). But I’m tired of white producers! I’m tired of you’re kind coming ’round here taking the jobs from good honest working black producers. Damn Affirmative Action j/k
I got lucky with the Jill Scott tix…I just kept re-doing the order request, over and over again, until some decent tickets showed up…Why does ticketmaster have to be so fucking difficult? I had to bring up the best tier level seats possible on my desktop, and then do the same ticket search on my laptop, so that I could look for better seats without losing my spot…sheesh…wifey should get a kick out of the present, though…if now, oh well, cuz that’s the end of my shopping, lol…

***LOL…once, my dad gave my moms a vacuum cleaner for their anniversary…It was a nice vacuum cleaner (lol) and I was only like 8, back then, but even I was like “wow, what a jackass”…I love my pops, R.I.P., but I’m a decidely better husband/father, by a long shot (eh eh, eh eh)

**Word? Raheem Devaughn is dope, local artist…so, I hope he opens for Jill here, too…>I saw him perform last summer (06), and he was hands down the best live performer I have ever seen…very Marvin Gaye-esque (none), and MG is my favorite singer of all time….I actually almost copped tickets to wack ass Keith Sweat’s (no disrespect to the washed up) tour, because he was going with Raheem and Chrissette Michelle, but once again, all they had was upper level joints…DAR Constitution Hall is maaaad small, so the good seats always go quickly….
Tavis is the exception to the rule as an individual but I wouldn’t consider PBS “black media”. I wouldn’t consider anything pumping through my cable box “black media”.
