Have you seen the new Rambo trailer? Sly Stallone is going ballistic throughout the whole thing, using ridiculously oversized weapons to take out the bad guys — there are times when he’s literally making it rain meat, and we don’t mean the kind you’d get at McDonald’s. At Madison Square Garden last night Dirk Nowitzki was John Rambo in a Mavs jersey, unleashing a meat shower on the Knicks

Sorry but Snoop is a legend regardless of your opinion, because his classic is up there with Illmatic and other few heralded classics. How is snoop safe for white people? I mean the dude has been rapping about pimping hoes, crips, and 40’s for most of his career, most white parents would probably try to ban their kids from buying snoop cd’s. We eat fish, tossed salads and make rap ballads
The biochemical slang lord’ll throw the arrows in the dope fiend
Vocal chords switch laser beams my triple sevens
Broke the slot machines out in Queens, Grey Poupon is rebel on rap
Smack on, swing like batons, most want niggas smoked like Hilshire Farms
Check the gun we sew, underneath my shoe lies the tap
That attract bow-legged bitches with wide horse gaps
In steel mills iron he’ll smoke the blow on Duns
You run heroins, Primatine mist is afraid of my lungs
Turn my channel, it’ll blow your whole bench off the panel
Like 80 roman candles that backfired then slammed you
Every day is like a video shoot, check this shit
I take you back to Playboy, stash guns and whips
Picture afro, big shish-ka-bobs and daishikis
1000 civil marched blazed their fists in early sixties

No doubt, Doggystyle is one of the top 5-10 albums ever, along with the Chronic, and I’ll give him props for any work on Dogg Food too. But that don’t make you a legend. A legend does things that very few others do. Snoop simply signed with the Neptunes and started putting out pop bullshit songs, which all suck. “Drop it like it’s hot” was trash, as well as “Beautiful.” I liked “Vato” featuring B-Real, and was amazed that it even got a video. I’m not saying he’s totally incapable of dropping a decent verse now and then, ala “Play on Playa” off Hip Hop is Dead, but as an MC, NOT A COMMERCIAL, he’s basically a joke.

man, 2x, hov didn’t spit that “A Week Ago†shit off the top in a one take session. I refuse to believe that shit. It would be more plausible if he took a bunch of sessions and recorded verse after verse. Either that or he used like a dozen takes before the song came together.
^^^^
why not….he’s done it countless times. one take! whats so hard to believe… anyone knows Jay-Z is constantly constructing verses in his head…so by the time he reaches the booth, he has it down pat.
go listen to “lyrical excercise” off blueprint. he’s constantly “writing,”

Constantly writing in his head? Hov must have a hell of a memory then, because there are some songs that are so complicated and intricate lyrically that you just can’t one take them. Not to mention the double entrendes and the rest. I’m not saying he doesn’t spit off the top, I’m just saying he records a lot of verses and then chooses the best ones to put on the song. think of it as a freestyle session. You spit your first verse, pause, come back spiit a second, then maybe pick the first one for the song. Leave one out. Edit something here and there.?

Much appreciated for the video fam. But freestyling a few lines off the top of ur head n then editing them n having a subject matter for the next few lines doesn’t really mean u walk in a booth, do a WOLE track (no editing of words, pronounciations, speed, content, repititions etc). Dats just my opinion in dat case.
@ moresickaMC
Nah I ain’t new 2 hip-hop fam. I’ve been listening 2 rap since Roger Troutman came with Zapp n did ‘More Bounce To the Ounce’ n people round my way tried 2 rhyme on it. I understand wot u n blaze mean though with the documentation of his style. But 4 me, going into football terms, it’s a bit like the highest goal scorer in the world is in that space because he is always by the line n gets da rebounds. But he ain’t da dude dat takes da pass from the mid-field, dribbles round the defenders n slips it past the keeper. There is a big difference from a Van Nistelrooy n a Pele

King James was a European King, he was following up on what Constatine the Great did - remove parts of the Bible that left much to be discussed and wondered about (Was Jesus married? Mary Magdelan was a prostitute…the fallen angels that spawned with humans…) By removing these books, Christianity became a no questions asked religion AKA slavery. It was the greatest way to control people without physical force - The Greatest Story Ever Told.
