While I’m still not impressed, I’ll stop nitpicking.

This Free album’s production is very traditionally Roc-ish. I like that.

So far this album isn’t bad at all. The beats are good, Freeway’s staying introspective/fun so far. It’s not as hustle-guns as I thought it’d be. He’s flying the Roc flag, and I dig that. Roc is on it’s way back.

Just for the record: Two Words, What We Do, Flipside, Roc the Mic (and it’s remix) are all tracks I dig featuring Freeway.

Up to track 8.. This is the “reminiscing on life in the hood” track.. Getting into some formulaic stuff right now, but the beats have held up–and Freeway’s delivery is carrying the song despite the genericality of the topic. (no disrespect).
