Okay, Rey’s Final Thoughts:
This album was the classic, “girl song, hustle song, introspective song, posse cut, club song” formula, but it worked.
I got annoyed with Freeway’s voice around track 10, but that Busta Rhymes-Jadakiss-Free joint (pause?) snapped me back into paying attention, and then I became numb to his voice and it didn’t matter.
I give the beats a solid B+.
I give the lyrics a B.
I give the flow and inflections a C because they’re so danged repetitive.
*ahem*
Not better than American Gangster or Graduation, but it’s a danged good album, one that I’m gonna cop. Congrats, guys. I finally paid attention to one of your recommendations.

A Riverside man who was charged with second-degree murder was convicted this week of a lesser charge of involuntary manslaughter in the death of his girlfriend’s 2-year-old daughter, whose body was badly scarred and burned.
Rodney Gerard Jeffcoat, 45, also was convicted Wednesday of felony assault and conspiracy to obstruct justice in the 2006 death of Kenvesia Blount. He faces a maximum penalty of four years and eight months in prison when he is sentenced Dec. 14, a defense attorney said.

A San Diego Superior Court jury of six men and six women deliberated for about a day and a half before announcing its decision.
As the verdicts were read in court – particularly the acquittal on the murder charge – Jeffcoat covered his eyes with his hand, seemingly overcome with emotion. He later dabbed at his face with a tissue, and when the hearing was over, he hugged his attorneys.
Originally, Jeffcoat was accused of first-degree murder, which requires premeditation, but Judge Peter C. Deddeh dismissed that charge during the trial, citing insufficient evidence.
Prosecutors agreed to drop a murder charge against the child’s mother, Trevesia Michelle Blount, 28, of San Diego, in exchange for her testimony against Jeffcoat. As part of a plea agreement, she pleaded guilty to child abuse and is expected to receive a 12-year prison term.
Blount’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for Nov. 30.
According to the testimony at trial, Jeffcoat and Blount drove the child from Riverside, where Jeffcoat lived with his mother, to San Diego on July 23, 2006. When the couple arrived at a hospital in the Grantville neighborhood, the girl was already dead and her body was badly decomposed.
A large burn, apparently from scalding, was on her left leg and foot.
Blount and Jeffcoat told police that the child injured herself by pulling down a pot of water that had been used to boil hot dogs. But when police interviewed Blount’s then-4-year-old daughter, she told detectives that Jeffcoat “hurt†her sister by knocking her head against a door and pouring hot water on her body.
Deputy District Attorney Harrison Kennedy contended that the child died as a result of a pattern of abuse inflicted by her mother and Jeffcoat. He said Jeffcoat became angry with the child because she wasn’t toilet-trained, and hit her repeatedly with belts and sticks.
However, Deputy Public Defender Jack Hochman argued that it was Blount, not Jeffcoat, who abused and neglected her children. The lawyer said a boyfriend could not override a mother’s refusal to seek medical help for her child after the girl suffered a seizure July 21, 2006.
Pointing to evidence from medical experts, Hochman also argued that although there was evidence of an older head injury, the victim probably did not suffer a more recent head trauma while staying at the Jeffcoat home.

out of lf: anybody have any idea on how to transfer a video tape (the small kind from a camcorder) to make a dvd copy. Or is there a way to connect to like my CPU and then burn it. I have this tape of me and my homies in Puerto Rico and its the greatest tape eva! And I want to post it on Youtube, the fuckery in there along with my comments is unbelievable home cinema

Man, I was SO tempted to cop the 80 gig PS3 yesterday… But I’m on a paper chase and that shit would eat up too much of my time. Those war jumpoffs look so real, got DAMN!
……yo i got the ps3 right when it came out….was mad hyped for it and i barely played the shit….a new game would come out and i would be excited play it for an hour or so and be like ok thats enough of this…..i thought i had grown out of video games phase ( something i thought would never happen ) that is until call of duty 4 and this assianins creed game came out…..i’m hooked again and i’m loving it…..

fux– you should be able to get some final cut software or something so you can DL it straight to your CPU… if you put it on a DVD it may not be compatible to youtube standards, too long, wrong format. etc.
