Oh yeah, I’m not going to go back and forth about the Andre 3000 thing, however, I will mention some names in no particular order: Kool G Rap, Jay Z, Scarface, stic.man, KRS One, Chuck D, Ice Cube, Rakim, Nas, Immortal Technique, GZA and there are a few others that I would mention before the homie 3000. With that said, 3000 is an incredible emcee. Do your homework and don’t think that just because someone came out before Outkast that their material is not as good.

^hmm, well perhaps not way past their primes, but thier influence and impact was definitely back when they arrived on the scene. the krs album wiht marley marl didnt do it for me. for rakim, there’s simply nothing to go by (aftermath curse), so you might have something there. kool g hasnt lost it that much either quite frankly but he can hardly be called top five. for chuck d, u cant say chucky is anywhere close to PE levels…so, as of right now, i cant see how u could put any of them in top five.

It makes a difference when you’re trying to get traffic lights, potholes covered, etc. In turn those people influence higher levels of government. Who the President is does not necessarily mean a thing, but we need to vote in that election because it has a bearing on what goes on locally and vice versa. IJMO

I woke up this morning wit the same frustrations from situations like these/got a call about some work from one of those temporary agencies/no high school diploma or any college degree/I could enlist but they’ll draft me if its a war overseas/oh please I could sling some ozs/but see I’m one of those aspiring mcs/n bills are due so at times I’m doubful and every one disagrees/but id rather struggle on my feet/than 2 live on my knees/so my uniform tight working all night at mickey ds/had about 98 dollars n some change after the government get they fees/these minimum wages aint enough to feed my babies/purposely restricting blac folks oppurunities/(its a minute I can not remember 2 save my life right now but he stsrted selling dope so ima give u the end n how he wrap it up)n I aint getting away with nothing cause I know he always see/but see/right now I need 2 see how I can get this lil dope sold/I done stuffed in my pockets as many rocks as I can hold/they gonna get high n ima get the money even if its freezing cold/now how many times u done heard this story told/believe it or not its some very intelligent junkies/but dependancy eating away at they soul like a disease/n the crime rate never drops so the cops ride round in threes/I know he woulda killed me if I did anything but freeze/they found the rest of the dope in some nearby shrubberies/now I’m in a dimlit room being questioned by these authorities/ n they gave me some time in correctional facilities/now my womans gotta take on a man responsibilities
