^ Paul Scoles retiring from international football destroyed England’s midfield…Thing that pisses me off is ON PAPER England have one of the best squads in the world. But like you said - too many egos, no teamwork or team spirit…
Plus the English Press’ unabashed bias and mollycoddling doesn’t help. They force the coach to pick the SAME players in every squad & theyre always making excuses for the team..Give the players some responsibility & accountability dammit! Managers & coaches can only do so much..Players need to perform…And I think Russia will beat Israel - I’ll be happily surprised if they dont..

^I swear, you aint never lied. Chicks who are hip hop heads… better yet… chicks who dig backpack rap are always sub-par in the looks dept. Or extra corny. However, I’ve noticed chicks who were Styles P, Beanie Sigel, Nas, and Mos Def fans tend to be attractive, rather hood. Possibly intelligent. But dudes usually snag them up pronto. yeah but you’re forgetting a few things
first, lupe’s track record already outstrips doom and pharaoh, commercially speaking. in his first album, he had joints with neptunes, jay and kanye — and jay executive produced the album. he sold over 600,000. he got 3 grammy nominations. that’s more accolades that doom or pharoah will get in their whole careers — which doesn’t make him superior, but damn, in an era where gold is the new platinum, he did damn good for a freshman release.
second, chicks are checking for him (n/h). his style is fly and his swagger is off the meter (n/h). i saw him in concert here at house of blues and he really ripped it. he has amazing stage presence and believe me, there were dimes in the audience. not like at a fucking ginuwine show (n/h + ayo), but believe me, the ho’s came out to support.
ye slayed 50 when 50 should have broke records with his latest album due to all the fucking promotion he got. the listening audience is unpredictable. one thing lupe has going for him is that he is always on some fly, next level, 10 years ahead of his time type of ish. he is the tribe called quest of our generation — to me, it’s that simple. the brother is talented (n/h).
we shall see come december (special n/h + ayo).

IMO of course

adding to that the amount of publicity he has been receiving lately, lupe might win again this go around, especially coming from the G.O.O.D. fam, things may just work out for lil pepe (II)…

how can a dude who raps about terrorism and israeli occupation and sisters going to school and social issues be boring?

he’s being himself, i can respect that shit

see, the problem is, what you’re basing what were saying speaking about as far as him being boring is solely on what he rhymes about. not the case, bud. it’s about the everything he dishes out. just because he speaks on certain issues doesn’t mean he isn’t boring. i look at how he comes across to me. period. and he’s boring. he’s a good writer, but his delivery is pretty straight forward with it. i would say i don’t hear his personality when he rhymes, but he is boring, so…
he does take it there as far as concepts (when you read about what the song is about), so i don’t disagree with you about him stirring the pot. but when you hear the finished result, it doesn’t hold up to what i thought the track was going to be like… i’m sitting there thinking he could have taken it further, especially with how i THINK his imagination can take it (like that cheeseburger shit. i really hope he’s not either just TRYING to be different just to be different, or he’s running out of ideas). he’s flat in interviews to the point where i have witnessed `st hand people trying to pull stuff out of him to make the interview more interesting. it’s not that he’s not a cool artist like how you’re basing things on, it’s just that IMO he doesn’t exude this swagger you say he has (i’m really starting to hate this word). but hey, to each his own…

Chaz Williams, the CEO of Queens, NY based Black Hand Entertainment, and manager of Foxy Brown, will be profiled on an upcoming episode of BET’s American Gangster series. Williams is said to have robbed over 60 banks during the 1970’s before he was eventually caught and sentenced to a 95 year prison sentence. During his incarceration, Chaz—or Slim, as he was known on the streets—continued to pull off heists by taking advantage of a prison work release program. After a successful appeal, his sentence was reduced to 15 years. Upon his release, Williams sought out a legal hustle, and eventually founded Black Hand Entertainment, whose roster includes up and coming Queens MCs Grafh and Prinz. In May of 2005, Foxy Brown hired Chaz as her new manager. These days Chaz oversees the day to day operations at Black Hand and has established a prison outreach program to share his story of redemption with prisoners. American Gangster: Chaz Williams airs on Wednesday, November 21 at 10:00 p.m. EST.

… Jay was still leaking blood from “Ether” when he recorded the lp Blueprint 2 … thats why its so much darker than Blueprint … Hova was happygolucky on “Blueprint” (H2theIZZO, GIRLSGIRLSGIRLS, UDONTKNOW) … on Blueprint 2, Mr. Carter sounded wounded (BLUEPRINT2, MEETTHEPARENTS, SOMEPEOPLEHATE, SOMEHOWSOMEWAY) … BP2 > BP for that reason … IMO …

Blueprint 2 was an outstanding album. fuck what anybody says, no other rapper can put together songs like Blueprint 2, Some People Hate, Guns & Roses, Meet the Parents
fuck what people say about it having filler or doo doo songs. alotta albums aren’t perfect (i don’t know one that is)… we just associate songs to albums because we are supposed to be conditioned to buy albums. those songs are excellent pieces of music, it just so happens they are on an album

IS IT OOCHIE WALLY WALLY OR IS IT ONE MIC?
IS IT BLACK GIRL LOST OR SHORTY OWE YOU FOR ICE?
A question NaS STILL hasn’t answered…Jay’s ill. He kept his diss records COMPLETELY factual. No playground disses eg: “..ur ugly..”
November 15th, 2007 at 11:43 pm
rap version of t.d jakes
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Another false jay line…
Cause nas kicked some knowledge and sometimes dwelled on the whole religion bullshit he’s like t.d Jakes? It’s not like he was the only rapper who ranged his topics. Shit DMX could be called the rap version of td jakes. Jays subject matter seldomly varies anyways. He just has that lyrical skill and wittyness with the double entrendes.

Isn’t it both? versitility. Im sure you don’t want to hear a rapper preaching 24/7 do you, or one that talks about hos and money all the time. Like Jay doesn’t do that? Is it Lost ones or Big Pimpin? come on that argument is laughable.
November 15th, 2007 at 11:45 pm
dat track 2 me summed up nas’s watching from da sidelines journalism ! he write well but he wasn’t a solja on da field……not take 2 take away his genius but d aline btn real nd fake was no longer blared after dat blueprint 2 !
