^The Hammerstein Ballroom is a two-tiered, 12,000 square feet (1115m2) ballroom located within the Manhattan Center Studios on 311 West 34th Street in Manhattan, New York City, New York, United States of America. It is known for its elegant appearance and excellent acoustical design. The capacity of the ballroom is dependent on the configuration of the room; the ballroom seats 2,500 people for theatrical productions and musical performances, and several thousand for events held within a central ring. The two main balconies – which are unusually close to the ground and gently sloped – seat a total of 1,200. There are six miniature balconies which are normally used for celebrity guests. The floor slants down to the stage area to enable those in the back rows to see easily.

The Manhattan Center was constructed in 1906 by Oscar Hammerstein as an alternative to the popular yet comparatively expensive Metropolitan Opera. In 1910, the Metropolitan Opera paid Hammerstein $1.2 million USD to stop operating the Manhattan Center as an opera venue for ten years. ^Treatment for my knee at this place called The Well ( http://www.ellicottcitywellness.com ), where they used holistic methods, herbs, and medicines to heal. I injured it while joggin’ a few weeks back and got horrible shin splints. The pain has now shifted from my shin to below my knee and behind it. It’s nowhere as painful as it was when it first happened, but I can still feel stiffness (pause), almost like it’s bruised. Maybe now I’ll stop bullshittin’ and hit the gym like I said I would.

Oh, for all of the peeps that supported me on switching jobs, I got two forms of confirmation that i made the right move, yesterday- first, my old boss quit, too, after like 20 yrs and is thinking about starting his own business, secondly, i got my first pay stub from the new job, and that shit had like income tax return numbers, on it….lol…a friend of mine said that if my old boss does set up shop somewhere, he wants me to join the team, which would be a good look….
