What are you talking about, in that line he is referring to rappers that snitch. “try as the may, they couldn’t get me on the hook” He is referring to the feds trying to get him on a hook, which means they were trying to get him to “sing” ie snitch since most hooks are sung. Obviously the song is alluding to jay moving weight when he was coming up, since teh song would be set in that time frame. He’s not talking about anyu rapper beef or anything like that.

What are you talking about, in that line he is referring to rappers that snitch. “try as the may, they couldn’t get me on the hook” He is referring to the feds trying to get him on a hook, which means they were trying to get him to “sing” ie snitch since most hooks are sung. Obviously the song is alluding to jay moving weight when he was coming up, since teh song would be set in that time frame. He’s not talking about anyu rapper beef or anything like that.
