No worries, the facts speak for themselves:

But, on the cool, Detroit and Oakland are like sister-cities for real when it comes to hustling. Note how the (albeist relatively unknown) “Chedda Boy” dude says something to the effect of he knows a bunch of Oakland dudes, just not rappers. The rappers out here that have REAL bonafide nationwide street cred from around my way are:
1) Richie Rich
2) Messy Marv
3) E40 and the whole Click

So in summation, yes dude is humourous with the flow, but my chick’s from the A and she actually knows a couple of Fabby songs, as do other chicks I know. No joke here, someone please tell me the name of a Royce single, or b side, or white label. Shit, it could be a song prominently featured on Madden! I’m a medium sized hip hop head (nullus), and I only know dude because of his overly self-describing name. actually royce did sell a decent amout of stuff, but mostly to hip hop heads.. not club music etc..
anyway… Boom w/ Premier is a Classic track, that single sold a lot. the Death is Certain was critically acclaimed, so maybe you were sleeping. but hey i’d never heard anything from FAB in my life. guess people listen to different stuff. he’s had a few videos on BET..
oh and he had a few songs on Grand Theft Auto 3, since you’re talking about madden

I’m not in love w/ fab’s style at all, but he can flow. So can Royce I’m sure, but truly have not heard except for today. If he did write for Em, that sucks for him b/c he “sounds like Em” to the untrained ear. There goes his perceived originality right there.
LP Crooks: I think Fab was better as a 1 hitter quitter, b/c on the last reply, Royce resorts to: a) over-using TOO many popular beats, b)enlisting people for adlibs on a damn diss track, c) trying to play that old “Gay” card on oakland. [like the Pimp Chad told yall, that title REALLy belongs to the A, LOL, and 2) Bring that to San Fran, which is tottally distinct from Oakland in all ways, and watch them ‘Sco boys mollywop your azz on the strength. Royce never has and never will do a show in the Bay, and the Bay is a “Lyrical” rappers dream market (see Zion I, Heiro, and all the rappers that come to get that show money out here, Rakim, Ghost, and Q tip were all here in a span of 20 days recently). Outside of that movie, I don’t think Detroit really supports “true hip hop”, whatever that is.
I ramble, but seriously, in one corner you have THE GHOSTwriter, and in the other, the GHOSTrider. FAB’s hot right now, and royce really isn’t. Have a coke and smile and stfu (respectfullY).
