It was Kanye who came up with the idea to go head-to-head right? Were you with the idea at first?

Fantastic. Took me 2 seconds. I mean, no one’s going to get hurt. 50 Cent sold a gang of records. You know what I’m saying? Maybe his ego is bruised a little bit, but he sold 700,000 records.
He also talks about where he sees the Roc going, Kanye’s early days as a lyricist and why he signed Uncle Murda.

I don’t think he’s on Purple Ribbon anymore.. His 3rd album, “The Charm”, flopped despite “Miss New Booty”‘s popularity. “The Charm” was just some ol’ ATL Mr. ColliPark stripper music.. 11 tracks of nonsense, with like 3 or 4 legitimately good songs.
Deliverance was awesome tho’.. Heartfelt, clever production.. Bubba’s got skills, but he’ll never really blow up.
I didn’t bother with Celebrity Rap Nonsense, but I think I did notice that Bubba dropped some weight (nh). Plus, he had a mixtape drop a while back, HHDX had some tracks from it–weren’t bad, but I couldn’t find the whole thing.
Bubba’s on the Sam Jackson Rule list tho’, and I’m hoping his next album will be more Deliverance and less BOOTY BOOTY BOOTY BOOTY ROCKIN’ EVERYWHERE!

Yeah it’s more prevelant now among different rappers, but when they spit they homage lines, no one can miss them.
I am a hip hop listener as anyone on here, and I probably have all of Big L’s, Rakim, and Puns catalog, but sometimes I still forget that they happened to spit that specific line when Jay uses it from one of their less known songs.
I mean seriously I am assuming Jay has almost hip hop CD on his ipod and he must listen to that shit liek a religion if these 1000′s of lines have been embeded in his brain.
