Actually I was listening to the song earlier, thinking “damn Jay got murked again, and Nas hadn’t lost it”
I was going to make a post on it, but I found it irrelevant as I didn’t want to dampen the spirit of the leak of AG or detract from it.
I figured “hey jays got a great album, its his time” Thats why I didn’t even mention Nas.
But since you brought it up, I can only assume you noticed Jay getting murked again and tried to flip it quick.

lol, yeah it was, I’ll be the first to admit Nas flow hasn’t been the same since like his 3rd album. His flow in Illmatic was impecabble, then it just kepts declining album after album after that. But lyrics have always been strong.

No way on God’s green Earth did Jay murk Nas on “Success”. You hear Nas for literally less than a minute on this track and he still destroys that shit. Jay’s verse to me is just another “I’m Richer Beyond Belief Rich And My FICO Score Is Bananas” type verse…nothing special, tight but nothing special.
