Freeway Speaks On Kanye/Just Blaze Comments
Wow, I’ve done more Freeway posts in the last few days than I’ve done since starting this site. Anywhoo, a gentlemen named Tim Hammill just reached out to me with an interesting quote from the bearded one.
Tim interviewed Free earlier today for a story he’s writing for XPOZ Magazine and he asked him about the perceived shots he took at Kanye and Just on It’s Over.
Here’s what he said:
"It’s not really a jab, that’s how I feel. It’s kind of like what he did with Jay on the "Big Brother" record. There is definitely no love lost. I loved working with Kanye and Just Blaze in the past. But this time around, on this album I tried to reach out to both of them but they were too busy for me."
As you can see, Free graduated from the Beanie Sigel School of Greasy Talk: Make sideways comment about lablemate, deny any real animosity, keep it moving.

Freeway sucks. And yeah - Think Ye and Just are just a tad bit busy right now? Ye just launched his album, working on Common and GLCs latest, while Justin is trying to get Sai, J. Hudson and that new secret project (outside of music i hear) out the door.
At least Free actually came correct with his cadence on the track. Most of his shit pre-this totally sucks.
