There are a couple of reasons I think Em did a better job:

- the beat was out of Jay’s element, he was by no means wack, but he wasn’t great either, sounded like he was just along for the ride next to Em

- Em murdered his verse (say he didn’t eskay), thereby erasing Jay’s first verse from people’s memory upon first hearing the song (lol)

- Jay was barely able to play cleanup man on the third verse

^ Nope not judging it off of 30 seconds. But snippets can give you an idea. I like what I hear so far. Its pretty dope for a 30 second listen on each track. I can say that off snipppets, but not going to say this album is going to be classic, an album of the year, or rating it againts other lps he did or lps in general nor am I sayin this album is a poor album, Jay could do better, Jay should stay retired and give it up..etc. But I know what you mean on smh at people already judging this album

This album has been totally overhyped because all of you jay-z fans have been so desperate for some decent material from him that you brand any of his shit that isnâ€™t awful, pop garabage (like Kingdom Come) classic.
