i didnt mean thats why it was successful, im saying it coulda subliminally made southern rap me accessable to the masses for the future, you get it? like having a nyc rapper who rapped with a southern drawl as the biggest in the game, and having so many people listen to him, made people more used to hearing southernlike drawls in rap, im not saying thats why he was successful, im sayin 50 was the cause and the popularity of southern rap yrs later was an effect, even though it happened subliminally, like below level, get on my level man

^ It maybe made NY like it, but believe me everyone else was already listening to southern rap. There was PLENTY of southern rappers moving units before 50.

EXACTLY! after the 9 shots 50 raps like a southern dude, you could maybe even argue that his getting famous with his southernlike drawl made it more easy for the south to take over in the years to come…think about it, it made the masses more used to and accustomed to hearing southern sounding rapping…
