greatest hits are about songs that are singles/bring you fame. it’s just that those songs early in his career were really dope records, while later in his career they were crossover attempts or “a&r’d” singles. I don’t even blame nas tho.. it’s how the game changed. but you can’t expect the greatest hits albums to have those ill album cuts and whatnot.
…except for 2pac’s greatest hits. that was actually a good compilation of music.. not his absolute best stuff, but pac brought it regardless on his singles (all of them being before the industry completely shot itself in the foot) so it doesn’t seem as up&down love it/hate it as nas’.

definitely. Large Proferssor has in fact said that he’s done around a dozen songs with Nas that have yet to be released. He said its just a matter of Nas wanting to put them out. Plus Nas has other joints that never got put on albums like Talk of New York, Death Anniversary, Serious ft AZ, Anybody Test, the Curse….etc.
