^Stand-up is a lot more challenging than what people give it credit for. Just like MC’ing, most of the very talented ones are just gifted. And to do a routine in front of crowd and to have most of the people laugh at the same joke is crazy. It’s not like being in the booth and you mess up and then do it over. You’re only gonna know if you material works by trial and error and have to take brute criticism in front of an audience. It’s not for the novice. You need to see this interview clip of Talent Harris (”it’s just… cooooomedy”) who talks about that.

I agree with u on the neptune beat.. That track is nothing special, but i was referring to the way jay is flowing. And the delivery. He makes it sound effortless and easy. And the context is more of a story line if u listen carefully. But that intro beat for the trailer is dope. That dirty loop is hip hop. Hopefully he keeps it gritty like that.

the black album was a nice album but no where near RD. the black album gets tucked in right next to volume 3
^Negatory. Vol3 has no replay value. That was one of the most commercial albums ever: the club record, the down south records, the radio records, etc. BA took more chances musically.
Hovi baby was one of the greatest flows off one of the greatest beats ever.

Land how could you forget Heart of the City, and Renegade, shiit, Heart of the City is better than alot of the good songs on BP2.

either way, im glad cuz hov brought it with this new track. at first the whole deep voice/slow flow caught me off guard but it took getting used to. this track kinda grew on me. and lol at everyone agreeing the beggining beat to this video was better than the actuall pharrell beat.

I agree with u on the neptune beat.. That track is nothing special, but i was referring to the way jay is flowing. And the delivery. He makes it sound effortless and easy. And the context is more of a story line if u listen carefully. But that intro beat for the trailer is dope. That dirty loop is hip hop. Hopefully he keeps it gritty like that.
