But of course that was old jay who had that nasty flow, I mean the dude went toe to toe with Big L and held his own, I would say he actually was better than Big L on that freestyle that flow was so sick, he was also better lyrically back then, hasn’t lost much of his wit, however his flow switched up immensly and is kinda wack now.

Same with Nas, his flow was immensly better during the Illmatic days, lyric and rhyme wise he was always ahead of Jay, right now both of their flows kinda fell off. But shit Halftime alone crushed half of Reasonable Doubt, that was Nas at his best both flow and lyric wise.
