Better late than never, Redman is hitting the road with his latest album, ‘Red Gone Wild: Thee Album.’
The poorly promoted Def Jam opus (most likely his last on the storied label) was released in March of this year, but the Newark, New Jersey-bred lyricist (legally known as Reggie Noble) has just now decided to give the project a promotional boost with a fall tour of clubs and theaters across the U.S.
A four-week jaunt is scheduled to kick off Sept. 17 in Ann Arbor, MI. Alternative hip-hop group Kidz in the Hall and Akir will serve as special guests on the tour (dates below the fold).
Maybe the delayed tour will be perfect timing for the ‘Time for Some Akshun’ rapper; he can also be seen on the new MTV reality competition ‘Celebrity Rap Superstar,’ which features a group of hip hop veterans teaching personalities (such as ‘Moesha’ stars Shar Jackson and Countess Vaughan) to master the art of rapping.
