Well I guess you right, as far as having connects, if his people were determined enough they could use going on tours, or working with one of his companies as a pedastal to go on to better things.

But it’s the enviroment they came up in, alot of niggas want shit the easy way and P wasn’t just going to buy them a house and pay their rent. But as far as murders, alot of times people just get caught in the crossfire or get got under similar circumstances they can’t help.

The 2008 Presidential Election will be far more controversial than 50 vs Kanye.

We (rap fans) captivated the media and the spotlight for something positive for the first time in years and years, and a shitload of people bought records–actually PURCHASED MUSIC, which I know is super rare around these parts..

I’m sure more people came out to Support either 50 or Kanye on this day where they both dropped than if they both had separate release dates.

Me either, but people are gonna see that it’s more than ringtones and dances now to sell big. Sales can fuckin’ plummet into the ocean for all I care.. I mean, I’m glad that people are enjoying Kanye’s music as much as I am–no different than running into a fellow Knicks or Mets fan–but I’d rather see the artistry come back.

Honestly, when the sales hit rock bottom, that’s when the true talent is gonna come to the forefront again.. Cuz the people only in it for money–artists, execs–will move on to something else, and the people that have true love for hip-hop will remain, and we can get back to lyrics and concepts and pushing the envelope without the backpackers bitching up a storm.
