also, pac might not have been the best lyricist, but you cant deny his ability to write memorable lines that really got his point across. why do rappers still quote pac lines to this day? also, there’s not a lot of rappers able to put as much emotion in their delivery as pac did.

you’re right but i think i figured it out… any new hip hop fan is pointed towards Biggie or Pac as a starting point for listening… not Nas & Jay cause they’re still around and everyone knows em. So when you just start liking hip hop and while listneing to other shit, you listen to those two dudes who were great, in their era, for rap and in general… but you can’t stay in love with the same bitch forever. if you have a brain you move on, to the next bitch. same with rap, if you start with pac and big, you need to move on to bigger (lol) and better things

there are better rappers than big and pac, no doubt, it’s fine if they’re your favorite, but just because they’re your favorite and you prefer to listen to them doesn’t mean they are the best, and though opinions come into play, you can admit that the lyricism of one cat is better than the next, without hurting anyone’s feelings… at least i hope

^^^my biggest problem now is that I have to skip thru the heavy rotated singles. I skip the TPain song cause I cant overlook the Mike Jackson sample for some reason. And I dont think Ive listened to more than 20secs of drunk girls (or wetf its called). Kanye’s delivery is questionable at times, but he has some decent concepts. The backing music is great, its bigger than hiphop, ready made for a live arena show. Ill say 8.439/10.0…..but I really dont know shit, trust me. (no DBillz (for the thesis) ol’ overwriting ass ninj)
