^Yo, they hated my guts fam! (pause) Of course I can’t leak my family name, but lets just say they got it in for us around there. We’re not a sit-down type of fam. Never have. Never will. I didn’t get this way on my own. Lol. The agency is run like one big minstrel show with a bunch of Sambos crackin’ the whip on other Blacks if you don’t conform. And it’s mostly women. It’s a damn shame that there are plenty of young brothas who came to B’more from outta town (and local) and not one of ‘em can get a job with SSA. And if they’re lucky enough to get in, NONE of ‘em will get a management position. I had enough G. I worked my way up from mailroom and got promoted to ERT before I got canned. And they basically wanted me out of the mailroom after they wrongly suspended me and 3 other co-workers (all young Black males that I was cool with). One of the dudes was a Muslim who I chopped it up with on MANY occassions and basically was on the same page I was. But the fucked up part about it was that they fired him before he could even apply for another position, not to mention that his suspension was longer than ours (you can already guess as to why). They kept the other 2 ninjas in the mailroom, and they promoted me because of family ties and I had one of the big wigs basically in my pocket (no Tabi Bonney). They did anything they could to divide us fam.

damn that’s deep billz, but i think it’s probably that way at most corporate/gov’t facilities… ie. the black’s only get to play ball once they show that they’ll bend over backwards and cut their bro’s throat… the major transportation company i work for (the one with an arrow in its name) stays catching discrimination suits and charges of cronyism.. it’s a big good ol’ boys network. One guy gets promoted to a position of power and calls up his college buddies to staff his other positions. people that they want gone catch random drug tests or get hazed into submission. Corporate america is a bloodsport.
