Shit is cyclical.. We’ll have Common, Kweli, and Kanye all dropping july, august, september.. Last year we had the bullshit snap rap until the 4th quarter, this year hasn’t been nearly as awful..even the gimmicky singles got better.

all the marketing teams,promoters, street teams, producers, studio engineers, dj’s, mixtape dj’s, internet sites, etc (i could list on & on)…etc…. that are eating off of hiphop is good thing, it’s a postive thing…..instead of being on the street 24/7 gettin caught up in some shit…
^ while you have a point you are missing a few things: these arent new jobs that were magically created overnight, a good 80% of those ppl would be working regardless. the other 20%.. those mofos still in the street because hip hop doesnt actually pay THAT much and they really want street cred so they stay in the streets long after their asses should have moved on an grown the fuck up.

The reason Young Joc has a reported 10 mil that he has acquired this year is because he has production credits in which songs has produced “I know you see it” quite a pecuilar song, the harmony is that of none.
