Co-sign. Man, The Chronic is a classic no doubt, thats why I love that CD, Dre aint no lyricist but his beats make up for it.
Thats why I say “I am” is a certified classic. I am had better beats than Illmatic. Not to say it was a better album, but it was something you could bang in the trunk. Everyone knows this. Almost all the beats on that CD were crazy. (Ghetto Prisoners, Hate Me Now, Favor for a Favor,See Me tonight,I wanna talk to You, Big Things)
People say oh his lyrics werent up to par and couldnt compare to illmatic. But he had beats from everyone that was doing it big at that time, from Timbo to Dre. All the above songs had beats that were full of bass and knocking.
