If those days were truly over, there would be no CD to buy in the first place. I can’t speak for everyone here, but I know I only use my iPod at the gym and at work every now and again…CDs (or their mechanical equivalent) will be relevant for a while…

Why does it have to be one or the other? Cds I’m really excited about I will go and purchase, even if I have a digital version of it before it comes out, because some of the better artists actually use the entire format as art and not just the music. Artwork (which loses compared to vinyl art anyway) can make something worth owning and keeping for years, but a lot of music is so ready-made to be disposed of these days that I feel no remorse for downloading it. Anyone spending money on albums like Curtis needs to be put through an intensive four-week seminar about how that same money can be used for other things, like food or drugs

yeah man.. the digital age is cool and all.. but the biggest let down is about how fans act. I mention i’m looking forward to Dope Artist 1’s album and people like “yeah, but he aint gonna sell more than Smedium Rapper 072182931’s album”.. or tryna clown Dope Artist 1 cause he’s an indy rapper versus some generic rapper’s major label “success”. I think somewhere down the line fans got too wrapped up in the label/marketing politics and forgot to listen to the music. hip hop is the new wwf (c) T.Kwe

Go to a Microcenter retail store, or search pricegrabber.com on the internets
Damn for $150 these days you could prolly cop a 20 GB mp3 player.
IMHO the greatness of the MP3 player is too ill to still be fockin with mp3 cd players.
BTW there are many vendors besides Apple, Creative, SanDisk etc. You don’t have to fock with Apple [||] if you don’t want to.
