There’s been some weird energy between those two dudes ever since. No outright beef though. Hopefully there won’t be. I want Sai to focus on the songs he’s great at (like ‘Color Purple’), not the beef nonsense.

Right from the intro to the end, every song is tight. And what I like the most is that his flow on this album is better than i’ve heard on any of his previous joints. And the production keeps up with the rhymes. The posse cut with Ras Kass, Canibus and Kurupt is fire. It’s called Inner G. I downloaded the album, but i’m gonna buy it some time this week. I think its his best album since Heavy Mental. It’s worth coppin’.

i think he said that shit about sai t help along his project and create an ooh ahh type of thing , he does exactly what he said uncle murda does .. but ewhen he says stuff its not new but you still listen because he knows his market value and how to say things . uncl e murda is wack but kinda had a thing in the way to get on but has nothing to entertain , pap is cool his voice gets annoying after awhile , tru life same thig - i think tru spits stuff trying to show how gangsta he is instead of make good music , joell is nice , just wish he had more content or soongs not freestyles or mixtape songs .. all the artist have somethning deemable but really are boring and dont necessarily need beef or controversy to getthem out thre , its just ny is so fickle with what is being put out and everyone is a rapper. artists in general are boring because they lack lyrical content in a beat indused world .. we might aswell be listening to chants or beat cds , because there is no one coming out and saying anything captivaing or otherwise .. if they are its not being shed proper light and they as an artist are nice but are not necessarily entertainers . they dont have to be bo jangles , they just need to have a persona about them that people love and want to continually know and hear more about .. honestly i think thats why jay , 50 , nas , will be relevant figures like LL , nas may fall more and more but he will always be a legend , i dont think he will ever put out the captivating hits he once did ,. in regards he is actually living legend status now because the people that love ns like myself only truly listen to a time period of nas . i love his lyrical play but its just not the same anymore.
with that said i think before any real big movement in hip hop there is going to be a major turning point that just either shocks the rap community or something drastic will happen . the focus may even change onto a different genre of music if rap/ hip hop does not ascertain a new draw to the market ..

Well I just listened to Curtis. 50 just don’t have that spark anymore. Outside of I Get Money(which is ok), I can’t fuck with that CD. He sound kinda old school with the same gunplay(yeah whatever kid). He been saying the same stuff for almost 7 years. Back then, it seemed new. Most of the tracks sound stale and generic, like throwaway compilation stuff. I didn’t even want to waste time downloading anything. He should have put out a mixtape or something. Most artists put out a street tape when they already know they putting out trash retail.
