I’ve had both sets of snippets since last Friday and I didn’t post them then, and I ain’t posting them now. It’s getting down to crunchtime for both these albums and both of their label’s C&D game is so serious.
I will say this though: From what I’ve heard, Graduation > Curtis. As if it was even a question. Although, from what I’ve heard, Curtis > The Massacre.

I don’t think it will suck, but there’s definitely nothing special about Kanye’s album so far. There’s just so much hype around it that a lot of people automatically think its hot. Can’t Tell Me Nothing is heat, but the rest is just good. That Killah Priest album that just dropped will be better than Graduation or Curtis, its just too bad nobody will check for it. That’s the state of the game.

Both albums are good so far. I knew Curtis wasnt going to be a terrible album. I like both and like I said from the jump, Im copping both (from what I hear now) Cant really define that both albums are all the way good from just 10 second snips.

If more artists had that same mentality, we could hear a Hip Hop’s heart beat again, but nope. i’d agree with you, but there’s a difference between songs that the artist/label leaks on purpose, to create hype and what not, and the songs that you’re actually buy the album to hear. some of the shit on those albums you’re not supposed to hear, unless you buy it. or like what happened to 50 cent, you’re not supposed to hear it until the hype from the songs you have out now die down. posting the snippets of the album is taking away from the actual experience of sitting down and listening to that album beginning to end. hearing the first few seconds of a song can pretty much spoil the surprise… but fuck the industry and having to buy music from those fuckers, making businessmen rich for doing nothing whatsoever to help the album progress (the music at least, what matters to us)
but remember… eskay works for the Interscope machine.
