yo billz ive been meanin to holla at u about this book u GOTTA read, its called Freakonomics. it has crazy interesting theories in there, its bascially this man who explains reasons for a random array of subjects, and i do mean random. but the most interesting theory of his is why crime dropped so much in the 90s. it wasnt better laws for gun control or because of a better economy. crime dropped because of….abortions.

lemme explain real quick, in the early nineties crime was skyrocketing and everyone was worried as fock. ppl were predicting in a couple of years the country would be uninhabitable and young criminals would take over. bill clinton even made a speech about it. but then, all of a sudden, crime didnt skyrocket…it dropped. and dropped. and dropped some more. and the media claimed it was because of laws and the boom in the economy. but it was because more and more people were having abortions. if u are poor and a minority, u are way more likely to become a criminal. and who was having abortions? women who would otherwise have given birth to poor, minority children. there were less criminals being born.

^^^But ATL has alot of educated black folk and HBCUs. Alot of black people with money and they run government. I really dont think it will be the same thing, its a differnt time and blk people are more complex.
