Kurt Sutter to Remake Bruce Lee’s ‘Enter the Dragon’
This is how you remake a film: update it; change the name; make it just unrecognizable enough to not ruin the original while still retaining the basic storyline. The formula worked in the golden age of Hollywood — yes there were plenty of remakes then, too — and it could work for Warner Independent Pictures, the studio behind a planned redo of Enter the Dragon. The new version will be modernized, retitled Awaken the Dragon and it will barely appear to be connected with the Kung Fu classic starring Bruce Lee. Like Enter, Awaken will deal with underground fighting clubs, but other than featuring martial arts it seems totally different — in an appreciably fresh way. Rather than focusing on an undercover fighter, Awake will follow an FBI agent on the trail of a rogue Shaolin monk. It’s now basically a noir film set in the world of Kung Fu. Maybe they should extend the title to Awaken the Dragon from the Big Sleep.
To write and direct the semi-remake, WIP has hired Kurt Sutter, who claims to be a huge film noir fan. So far we haven’t seen any feature work from the guy, but fans of TV’s The Shield may be fans of his work. He’s a co-executive producer of the show and he’s written plenty of episodes, directed one as well. Yeah, but no one knows how much was co-produced. For all we know it could have just been one instrument that was used, that Dre didn’t know how to play. He shouldn’t be judged unfairly because he chooses to use live instrumentation instead of just a sample.

I have a theory that Dre comes up with how he wants everything to sound but since he employs alot of co-producers he just has them play the live instruments rather than sampling something and paying for it.

I can say that some of the vitamins in a multivitamin are released in the urine, but if taken with food (as directed) the nutrients get into the body and are absorbed along with the food. Go read one of the articles of how useless vitamin water is….buddy. AOL just covered this on Friday.

What are the effects of drinking tap water over time? I never thought there was an issue with it. I think that all this purified water shit is unatural. I mean I want my water clean, but I’m saying if someone grew up drinking bottled water and drank tap water for the first time they might have an adverse reaction to it since their body isn’t used to the higher levels of bacteria. The body learns to tolerate that in tap water. Thats what I always thought.

last year they (the city of phoenix) warned us not to drink the water for a week or so because a rainstorm pushed “higher than normal” amounts of sediment into the water system…

I gotta get in on this bottled water thing. Its the dumbest thing ever. cats is payin 2 dollas a bottle for water. WATER! who’da thunk it. I myself am even guilty of buying water on some It taste better.
^ say word– how stupid are we? we pay up to $4 for 16 oz of water that we can pur from our faucets at home for free, but bitch about gas prices.
^^I remember 10 years ago in Arizona a gallon of water was more expensive than a gallon of gas depending on where you were… if you’re in an NYC it’s not uncommon to have to pay $5 for a bottle of water and it’s also not uncommon for them to only have hot water in the bathrooms so you’re not trying to drink that shit…
for real tho, there’s so much fluoride, chlorine, metals and coliform (bacteria from human/animal waste aka shit) in tap water these days that it’s really not as safe as it used to be to drink… there’s a reason that they are conditioning us to buy drinking water and putting flavors and all kinds of other unncessary stuff into it…
