Oh and Kanye wasn’t that big when College Dropout dropped, though it was probably his best work, he was just a producer from the Roc that killed it for Jay-Z. When Late Registration dropped, he was that dude for anyone who knew what was what. ^Yeah, I like to take the 40 minute drive (or less, depending on traffic and time of day) every now and then to chill in Adams Morgan. The dude Patrice Oneal has a show for the weekend at the DC Improv the whole weekend, but Fri. and Sat. were sold out so I’m hopin’ to catch tomorrow’s show. Then next month Kevin Hart is supposed to be there. I never been to a comedy show before so I told myself this year that I would start goin’. Especially when the Fall/Winter roll around.

^No doubt. I just found out today that it’s illegal in MD, which sucks. Basically, with net listing, instead of a percentage the seller can tell you how much they want to sell the property for and the broker gets to keep the rest. Sheeeeeit. Talk about cakin’. As soon as I get licensed, I’m movin’ to a state with the cheapest cost of living and get my net list on.

I remember hitting this comedy spot in Buckhead, Shaq, CeeLo, Daz, and a bunch of other mofo’s was there. I was in there nervous as hell, them comedians was seriously goin in that night, crackin on random muh fuckas in the crowd.

I also found out that FL is the only state that even if you’re in some legal trouble, the IRS/gov’t/etc. is not allowed to seize your home under any circumstances to pay a debt.

Tryin’ not to laugh too hard to be noticed, but also rememberin’ not to have the “you aint funny” look on your face so that the comic don’t be on some, “hey… look at this ninja, he aint smiled all night… ol’ Durango boots wearin’ ass ninja”, or some shit.

I heard once that the messages delivered through mainstream music is controlled by the powers that be… I wonder if it’s true, because when I think about it, most hip hop promotes genocidal messages for black people
^*ding ding ding* And that, my friend, why I just had an epiphany right before I logged on to NR (whilst listening to C.R.E.A.M.) about the Wu will never be allowed to be mainstream again. They knew how to encode 5%/Muslim/knowledge in their raps and it was catchin’ on worldwide. They depicted tales of the ghetto with precise lyricism without exaggeration and actually had success. Needless to say, the t.I.’s didn’t like that.
