     50 Cent recently bet his rap career that he’d outsell Kanye West when their albums drop next month.

     Despite holding a more successful track record, skeptics are questioning whether 50 Cent’s Curtis will outsell Kanye West’s Graduation come September 11. Ask 50 and he’ll tell you there’s no way he’ll come in second. In fact, he’s ready to wager his career on it.

     “They would like to see Kanye West give me a problem because I’ve worked myself into a space where I’ve become the favorite,” Fif told SOHH exclusively. “Everybody roots for the underdog when he goes against the favorite.

     “Put it like this,” 50 told SOHH. “Let’s raise the stakes. If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I’ll no longer write music. I’ll write music and work with my other artists, but I won’t put out any more solo albums.

     “And I bet this, when Kanye West’s sales come in, he’s gonna have a 70% decrease [the second week] ’cause Def Jam is gonna buy records to keep him closer to 50 Cent,” the Queens rapper added. “So watch the first week and then watch the second week. Watch his @#* drop off the planet. We keep our angles covered before we make a decent bet.”

     As previously reported, the two superstars spent time in the studio together working on Fif’s LP, but SOHH has learned that the material they worked on isn’t scheduled to appear on the album’s final version.

     “We worked together on an actual record to try and create something,” 50 said. “I went in with Kanye, I went in with Swizz Beatz, I went in with will.i.am, I went in with Polow [Da Don] just to see if they had something that I didn’t, to create a new direction for me that I couldn’t get my hands on. I mean these guys are popular producers [and] have a higher consistency than a guy that’s unknown, but a lot of times they may have music planned that doesn’t fit the project that you’re working on.”

     50 “gets the checks, he [Kanye] gets the trophies.” By the way, don’t hold your breath for a Kanye West-produced song on 50’s forthcoming Curtis. It isn’t likely to happen.      If you recall, Fif mentioned that Kanye was “a safe @#*$%” a while back. “That’s not actually my feelings about Kanye West,” Fiddy clarified. “That’s my feelings about how people perceive Kanye West. This is why I didn’t have a problem going into the studio with him.”

     “The people who give out trophies, pick him because he’s safe,” the Queens rapper added. “But my projects be making a way bigger impression…by actually selling. That’s an indication of the public’s interest. How many people are interested enough to go spend 16 dollars on a CD.”

     50 then went on to speak on the lack of accolades his last CD, The Massacre, received despite producing high sales. “I sold 1.1. million records in four days and, I didn’t get one trophy for The Massacre, for the entire album,” 50 explained to SOHH. “Then release Get Rich Or Die Trying as a soundtrack, sell 3 million records of the soundtrack and soundtracks are harder to sell than solo albums…and then, no trophies for the soundtracks.”

     “I don’t get trophies, I get checks,” 50 concluded. “He gets the trophies. But how you gon’ give him a trophy now when he comes out the same time I come out?

     Killarmy released numerous singles from 1995 to 1997, including “Swinging Swords” and “Camouflage Ninjas” as well as the Sunz Of Man collaborations “Wake Up” and “Soldiers of Darkness.” The album Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars was released in 1997 just after the release of Wu-Tang Clan’s second album, as well as a 12-inch single containing two tracks from the album, which were “Wu-Renegades” and “Clash of the Titans.” Shortly afterward, the group’s manager General Wise was shot dead in Steubenville, Ohio, where several members were from and Wu-Tang members like the RZA had spent time in their youth and young adulthood, but the group pressed on undeterred, appearing on the Wu-Tang Killa Bees: The Swarm compilation and each making numerous appearances on other Wu-Tang projects from the Clansmen themselves and from other affiliates. The group’s second album, Dirty Weaponry, was released in 1998 and the third, Fear, Love & War was released on September 11, 2001. In 2002, the group received some controversy following the Washington, D.C., sniper attacks. On an episode of Tim Russert’s Meet the Press, Russert and Montgomery County police chief Charles Moose stated that Killarmy influenced the shootings, and referenced a number of lyrics to support the claims. Despite the press attention, nothing materialized from the accusations[1]. In 2002, Dom Pachino became the first group member to release a solo album, with Tera iz Him. 9th Prince followed in 2003 with his solo debut, Granddaddy Flow. ShoGun Assasson is rumored to be the next member to release a solo album

     regardless of whether or not u think rappers should mention tragedies, the line still isn’t that great. it’s fairly average.
