Theres an obvious reason why 50 would wile out like that. He is clearly dissapointed at the buzz and success of all the singles he has released so far. I mean this is a clear indicator even for the 50 stans that this album is pure garbage.
I mean what are we on, his 5th video, before the album drops. Who releases 5 videos prior to an album. If they hype was strong and the public response was good 50 wouldn’t have minded a leak cause it would have boosted his buzz.
Plus only 1 track out of all his singles is above mediocre. Usually the normal thing to do for 50 is release one video for the ladies, one for the streets, and a club banger. He got this right on his previous 2 albums. But this time he has a video with JT, another one with Robin Thicke, and then Amusement Park, this dude can’t be serious.

Now that EVERYONE is doing that, nobody’s paying attention to it, and now the music is finally becoming the deciding factor amongst the people who still support CDs and junk.
That’s why, for example, Kanye is gonna do well.. His arrogance has always been solely about how good his music is, and he’s backed it up, 2 for 2, and if what I’ve heard off Graduation is any indicator, he’s about to do it again…

I’m sure he thought Str8 to the Bank and Amusement park would excite his core audience and he’d coast on his rep to 2 or 3 million sold.. but when those made everyone snore he hit the panic button with “Mm-mm kissing”, and then I Get Money and Ayo were second waves of plan A, and those are done, so now we arrive here.
Either way, dude’s time is done. The G-Unit empire started crumbling with Yayo’s album tizzanking, and every other project has failed to go platinum, or gold (not sure how the get rich soundtrack did) even..

as for 50 flopping, he won’t “flop” the way MIMS or whoever flopped, he’ll flop by his own standards, ie probably do about 1 mil or so, 1.5.. Akon is everywhere and he’s only at like 2.5 mil..

50 needs to do a lot of things, but they’re all too late.. The fans that supported rap heavy from 1996-2005 have moved on to other things.. Downloading hurts a lot, but the shift away from rap hurts more…

We’re not too far gone from the days of rap as a force, but it’s gonna take a whole lot of people to stop putting out bullshit music.
If they did stop making that shit, rap would gain some impact and social influence back, it’d make the average young’n with mental flexibility think, and it’d be a rebellious force once again, which would draw people to it’s raw (pause) energy..
It’d basically be 1988-1998 all over again before people started reusing the same mysoginistic/narcotic/materialistic formula for almost every song of every project.
