^You read my mind (no ESP). Movies like House Party, School Daze, and the like, promoted positivity and AA college enrollment was at a all time high. That’s back when we used to rock the HBCU hoodies (I had a Howard one… Martin can be seen wearin’ one in the first ep of his show). Songs like TLC’s “Baby, Baby, Baby” was shot on a Black college campus, as were many others.

^I feel like you writing my biography, lol. Mannnn, time after time I’ve been asked by crakkkas to smile at different gigs and that shit makes me more uncomfortable than anything. And it doesn’t help that I have the wooly like facial hair and shaved head. Multiply that with my Comm. Studies classes and how I’m always catching subtleties in other peoples interpersonal and nonverbal behavior. I personally could care less if they are threatened, and admit that sometimes I revel in it (i.e. purpopsely walkin’ past a white civilian in a parkin’ garage while they get in their whips). On the other hand, I’ve also learned how to deceive said Anglo Saxons through voice/speech manipulation, eye contact, pseudo status affiliations, and other “secrets” that has gotten me beyond the threshold of their society.

I recommend anyone in here who went to college, or who plan on goin’, to definitely take a sociology course. Changed my life.

For some reason, I just can’t see me coppin’ somethin’ that expensive that isn’t even gonna be worth half after 5 years. No matter if it’s just a sedan or luxury car.
