The world we live in now is a reality tv world where any and every one has a slight chance of being broke and famous...famous being the key word. So with that said everyone will always be a fan, but since I know what goes into making an album since I have fruity loops and protools and a keyboard and my man is alving racking is brain for creative rhymes...I want to know what "professionals" of the same genre are doing. I think its a hiphop thing as well. You don't really hear Rock, Jazz, or country artist fans trying to see who did what. None the less...The first time I heard Common's new joint "Start The Show"...I ran out of the building at my job, called my man up, had him come get me in his whip and we blazed and listened to that joint I promise you about 20 times. So....What am I getting at? Good music is good music and you will respond like a fan to good music. It's just like box office numbers. People like to see how sales go, otherwise gold and platinum would be irrevalent. My friends and I have read soundscans and discussed sales for the past 12 years.
