Two Irresistible Forces: Kanye Ain’t Moving
Before he took the stage at last night’s Lil Wayne show at the Beacon, Kanye told MTV News that he isn’t moving his release date, and that he’s looking forward to facing off against Curtis on September 11.
"I’d rather come out on a day like that, up against 50 — where people are excited about going to the stores and it’s an event and people talk about it — and be #2 on that day rather than come out and be #1 on a day nobody cares about," West said.
The article also notes that the 11 will be the 6th anniversary of Jay-Z’s The Blueprint, which was arguably the most important album in Kanye’s career as a producer.
