ok from the stand point of the track itself.. no verses.. jus the beat… IMO its weak.. this been out for 6 months now as far as I can tell and I been followin Jugg’s (nh) music since 04.. the dude made a couple of bangas.. but this feels too forced to me.. joell is the only one (again IMO) who comes off.. jugg has done way better.. and I wonder how many stacks they had to cough up to get murda on the track (this aint really in his lane IMO again) the ish sounds forced.. now that brooklyn track with fab, jay n murda.. that is also a NY anthem and that shit is ridiculous to me. just the track by itself screams brooklyn… this track (enwhycee) sounds like 93-94 weakness to me.. in 07 nah… The video is kinda tight.. i liked the various shots of the city.. n the cameo’s from Camilo to DJ Yonny to etc etc. the video is cool.. the song is weak.. IMO

DJ’s used to break records back in the day.. now while i dont think everyone is deserving of a fair shot.. payola got replaced with neo nepitism. and we’re force fed the same ish every day all day.. i like goin outside of nyc because the radio there actually has diversity for better or worse.. now i could get into program directors, music programmers.. ish like that.. but its too intensive.. the last refuge for new artists.. are mixed shows.. and venues like Nah Right on the internet. Again this is all my opinion.. but I think i speak from a point of slight authority on the subject.

^^^yeah… I think the average rate is something like 9.2 cents per song… and then there are clauses that limit that shit to a certain number of songs, so a cat can get stuck with only 72 cents per unit… there’s other royalties that they collect too, but unless there is a serious media campaign for an artist, they ain’t gonna make too much money off that… they make the most money from doing shows… the worst is when the label convinces the artist to cross-collateralize (sp?) their shit and then they recoup from their show money too, that’s when you know your life is a loss… but yeah, $250,000 gets spent quick and that’s usually before they recoup materials, packaging, marketing, breakage, video and everything else. cats can blow that on just recording their shit, and god forbid they go over budget… it’s a scary world out there… most people just got rented everything and end up right where they started when it’s all said and done… (nh)

Now its a singles market like two times said. though I cant front I advocate (no doctor’s) to my boy.. and we puttin together a project.. n the shit is 80% single material.. just because we know thats whats gonna pop n potentially make money..
