In my opinion, Wutang was he most influential group in hiphop ever; slightly edging out Run DMC. They were originators not regurgitators like most rappers today. I understand that we have to change with the times, but hiphop today is very ignorant and quite stupid! And that’s a shame because hiphop could be so much more powerful than it is. “Hay be be” are you serious? I’m ashamed of hiphop today. I do a lot of world traveling and I use to be an ambassador for American hiphop; I use to look foward to debating hiphop with a French B-boy or A German DJ, but now I’m to embarrassed to even bring it up in a conversation because it’s to hard to defend “Wipe me down”. At least Wu sprinkeled a little bit of creativity and intelect in with the street talk. Wisen up Youngins’

The money issue is exactly why Iâ€™m NOT doinâ€™ anything for them. Weâ€™re still fam, cool as a fan. Can always chill in the studio and chop it up, crack jokes, etc. But, I wonâ€™t officially do any more work for them until shorty (new Ethiopian chick) starts talkinâ€™ about the proposition she made.

I know niggas have got dues to pay (no duepayer.com) in the music industry but if you’re University educated it means you’ve had to speculate (ie pay for your degree) which then means its time for you to accumulate (ie cut me a cheque nigga). Why don’t don’t you go work in the corporate world Billy? You got a commerce degree right? Money comes quicker over there…

^A lot of local artists always come through when I’m there. And chicks who wanna model. I always miss the good shit, like when Smif N Wessun were there. Or when AZ was there. Or Styles.
