For some reason I assumed you knew that and was in NY (thought that was what you mean when you told me) Hate to rub it in, but shit was crazy. Jada alone killed it. Nas as well. Nas’ stage performance may not be the best out there, but when you have a catalog of history under your belt it don’t matter because he rocked it. Hip Hop lived at Love nightclub last night. He did almost every song he had. Jada too.

soul survival is as, if not more important than your physical being. If the music your hearing is not fulfilling and does nothing for your soul, you dont have to deal with being force fed bullshit. I made that decision a while ago, after turning from one radio station to the other only to hear the same recycled bullshit everywhere. Not being technically inclined I drove to Circuit City copped a cd player/changer. I parked in the driveway ripped the old radio out my hooptie. Driven by pure anger and outrage I somehow installed a cd player and changer. Thats how bad this hip hop shit has gotten. Now I can be more selective with what I need to hear to fill that void.

^No bullshit, I was on that path the day I heard Laffy Taffy on the air. I honestly thought it was a joke. You know how DJ’s be playin’ around and shit. After I heard it was real, I was in Best Buy that followin’ weekend. My manz worked in the auto dept. and he gave me a free cd player/radio and installed it, both free. Mind you, it is a garbage ass cd player/radio (da fuck is a Road Gear?… can’t hold a station… cd’s skip… can’t finish a track from where it left off, whole songs start over again when you turn the engine on) but has kept me sane nonetheless. After my car got broken into with MADD cd’s taken (and small window still missin’), I’m workin’ on gettin’ a iPod and new Mp3 compatible radio.

This is from what I heard. I had vip acess, but usually too high and drunk to make my way up in there. Just saw Jada walking around the dance floor and bumped into him. I only saw Nas on stage. He probably was laying low though, but the ladies were out last night. I thought I died and gone to heaven. Place was too packed so I saw most of the show on the screens in the vip section in the way back of the floor the show was on, but I ended up near the stage (dunno how) when Jada was on stage doing his thing.

Thats the first thing about the beat that came to mind when i gave the song a listen. I can’t be that impressed with the beat when it’s almost an exact rendition of Im’a Husta. Swiss clearly used the same bass line and switched up the drum pattern just a little bit.

Apart from the above It’s a decent banger, 50 still somewhat lazy with the lyrics, doesn’t really focus on a specific subject matter no more. But this shit is nice.

Its not exactly the old 50 that I like, but I guess it’ll do. I’m just hoping that the Curtis album got scrapped and he’s redoing the whole thing, because the snippet of that shit was fucking wack. Every track had some pop/r&B feature, it was horrendous. 50 need more tracks like this on his album. At leat make a effort to take it back to that GRODT shit.

He embodies the abilities/characteristics that a great MC should have: voice, energy, flows (notice that I put that in plaural), songs, etc. Pap, Sai, Lupe, Serius, Joell, Term, Ruste, and a few other new cats are all good MC’s imo. But none of ‘em embody ALL the aspects of a MC like Lux. I’m still disappointed that Eskay never gave money any shine.

well the hollow earth theory.. is most likely by far.. the hardest to consider.. when I came across it one night after hours of tangent searches starting from the masonic imagery in the street lay out in washington dc.. and at first i had to laugh at that.. but when you compile the evidence.. and integrate other theories into it.. it kind of comes together like the last scene of the usual suspects (no verbal… or herbal for that matter)

well the theory goes.. there is a core that acts as an inner sun.. hard to swallow I know (no weezy) and there seems to be some fantasy mixed in with actual facts.. but what science projects the earth’s overall mass to be now.. doesn’t add up logically.. if the earth was indeed a solid mass through and through. Also there is the pangea theory to consider.. north america lined up with africa and europe.. but there is evidence to suggest that the west coast once lined up with the other side of asia.. indicating that at one point the surface of the earth was all land mass.. of course this begs the question.. where did the 3 quarters water (c) canibus.. come from.. however there is also evidence citing core samples from the continental shelf that indicate the ocean floor is 70 million years old.. pointing to the theory that the planet is indeed expanding with continental drift.. tectonic plate.. etc..
