^sounds like it, and I do remember him saying he got swiss on the album, .. wonder how the politics played out in that meeting, with the Ramirez shooting and all

  9. D. Billz Says:

smh @ the “I’m A Hussla” base line.

  10. Rey Says:

    I heard this coming home..

It sounds like a bootleg mixtape remix version of So Seductive.

Funny, 50 finally started giving a shit about rapping good, and now nobody cares.

  11. big filth Says:

This shit aint good either, lets face it.

  12. Rey Says:

Of course, he’ll spin it as “See, people don’t care about content, they wanna enjoy the music. I made the mistake of switching up my content which alienated my fan base. That’s why other artists won’t sell”

and then he’ll throw out percentages and other big words Jimmy Iovine taught him at Demonkey-ing Camp.

(that’s a bugs monkey joke, not a “black people are monkeys” slur)

  13. cOLD Says:

Funny, 50 finally started giving a shit about rapping good, and now nobody cares.

^good point Rey, on both comments.

The shit is disgusting…spit another verse or something

    curtis = jeffrey atkins

  19. G7 Says:

Piggy bank, Straight to the bank, I get money…etc. Like we don’t know he’s rich already. GTFOH!! Repetitive content, but better than his other two singles. But still….GTFOH!!

  20. D. Billz Says:

Ay Es… sup wit’ not postin’ those Freeway/Don Cannon joints? Those verses are lava. Instead we gotta hear Big Spender with your Uncle on it.

    not great, but not wack.

never been the biggest 50 fan, but he is at the point where people would just prefer to not like him. This shit happens all the time, thats what made Jay’s run so impressive. tracks cant just be good, they have to be so good that people who want to dislike you cant front. thats another level

^And here I am at home… my dumbass thinkin’ the LB’s was in town. My cousin called me on some, “yo, they’re gonna be here JULY 29th (or 31st or whateva), not JUNE”…. ah well. Another concert I missed. Chalk that one up. Smh.

  40. Big Homie Says:

My bad I meant to hit you on here and tell you I saw a flyer online that LB was in NY last night. For some reason I assumed you knew that and was in NY (thought that was what you mean when you told me) Hate to rub it in, but shit was crazy. Jada alone killed it. Nas as well. Nas’ stage performance may not be the best out there, but when you have a catalog of history under your belt it don’t matter because he rocked it. Hip Hop lived at Love nightclub last night. He did almost every song he had. Jada too.

  41. cOLD Says:

soul survival is as, if not more important than your physical being. If the music your hearing is not fulfilling and does nothing for your soul, you dont have to deal with being force fed bullshit. I made that decision a while ago, after turning from one radio station to the other only to hear the same recycled bullshit everywhere. Not being technically inclined I drove to Circuit City copped a cd player/changer. I parked in the driveway ripped the old radio out my hooptie. Driven by pure anger and outrage I somehow installed a cd player and changer. Thats how bad this hip hop shit has gotten. Now I can be more selective with what I need to hear to fill that void.

^No bullshit, I was on that path the day I heard Laffy Taffy on the air. I honestly thought it was a joke. You know how DJ’s be playin’ around and shit. After I heard it was real, I was in Best Buy that followin’ weekend. My manz worked in the auto dept. and he gave me a free cd player/radio and installed it, both free. Mind you, it is a garbage ass cd player/radio (da fuck is a Road Gear?… can’t hold a station… cd’s skip… can’t finish a track from where it left off, whole songs start over again when you turn the engine on) but has kept me sane nonetheless. After my car got broken into with MADD cd’s taken (and small window still missin’), I’m workin’ on gettin’ a iPod and new Mp3 compatible radio.

  50. cOLD Says:

wifey out joggin and I’m feeling guilty cause im a lazy fuck.

  52. Big Homie Says:

This is from what I heard. I had vip acess, but usually too high and drunk to make my way up in there. Just saw Jada walking around the dance floor and bumped into him. I only saw Nas on stage. He probably was laying low though, but the ladies were out last night. I thought I died and gone to heaven. Place was too packed so I saw most of the show on the screens in the vip section in the way back of the floor the show was on, but I ended up near the stage (dunno how) when Jada was on stage doing his thing.

^This happened to me while I was DC too. I was at Bar Nunn with Cutta and ‘em, and when I walked back to the whip I peeped in noticed shit scattered everywhere. They saw the bags my cd’s were in (clothing store bags) and probably thought I had kicks and/or clothes in there.

    spoiler:
just, i’m not up on my U.S. geography and whatnot, but how does it take Bruce Willis a few hours to go from Jersey to like say, D.C., then a couple of minutes to get around that area (B’More, West Virginia)… but it takes the feds 15 fucking minutes, which lasts an eternity, to fly from D.C. to wherever there in Maryland or V.A….

how can one single man stop helicopters, those huge trucks, fighter jets, but it takes the whole head of the f.b.i. the whole movie to get 3 blocks down the street

smh @ the “I’m A Hussla” base line.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Thats the first thing about the beat that came to mind when i gave the song a listen. I can’t be that impressed with the beat when it’s almost an exact rendition of Im’a Husta. Swiss clearly used the same bass line and switched up the drum pattern just a little bit.

Apart from the above It’s a decent banger, 50 still somewhat lazy with the lyrics, doesn’t really focus on a specific subject matter no more. But this shit is nice.

Its not exactly the old 50 that I like, but I guess it’ll do. I’m just hoping that the Curtis album got scrapped and he’s redoing the whole thing, because the snippet of that shit was fucking wack. Every track had some pop/r&B feature, it was horrendous. 50 need more tracks like this on his album. At leat make a effort to take it back to that GRODT shit.

  160. Paperstacker Says:

    this shit is a banger…
