After badmouthing Wu-Tang at a concert, Bad Boy recording artist Mase had a run-in with Ghostface and his entourage at a club in New York City. There was some sort of physical altercation between Mase’s and Ghostface’s camps, and Mase left the incident with a broken jaw. Kanye West is among several rappers who have made reference to the incident, on his song “Through The Wire” “…If you could feel how my face felt/ You would know how Mase felt…” In a freestyle by Shyheim, he also referred to the incident with his line “The Empire State, where Ghostface retired Mase”

The comments made by 50 Cent towards the Wu-Tang Clan were responded to on the Ghostface Killah album “Supreme Clientele” on a track called “Ghost Deini” and even more directly on a skit called “Clyde Smith” which included one of the Wu Tang Clan members talking about how they intended to harm the rapper. It is unsure exactly what member of the clan said this due to the tracks vocal distorter. Jay-Z also reacted to the comments in the track called “It’s Hot (Some Like It Hot)”, off the album Vol. 3: Life and Times of S. Carter :
“Go against Jigga yo’ ass is dense
I’m about a dollar, what the fuck is 50 Cents?”
Big Pun responds to this track on his album Yeahhh Baby, in the song “My Turn,” in which he states:
“And to the 50 Cent Rapper, very funny — get our nut off, ‘cuz in real life, we all know I’d blow your mutherfucking head off…If I’m gonna write a song, it’ll be about how I had to beat your muthafuckin’ ass. The comments made by 50 Cent towards the Wu-Tang Clan were responded to on the Ghostface Killah album “Supreme Clientele†on a track called “Ghost Deini†and even more directly on a skit called “Clyde Smith†which included one of the Wu Tang Clan members talking about how they intended to harm the rapper. It is unsure exactly what member of the clan said this due to the tracks vocal distorter. Jay-Z also reacted to the comments in the track called “It’s Hot (Some Like It Hot)â€, off the album Vol. 3: Life and Times of S. Carter :
“Go against Jigga yo’ ass is dense

I didn’t start buying rap albums on the Regular until maybe 2002, so before that I’d either cop the single, or I’d just have to catch it on the radio.
Usually tho’ I wouldn’t mess with it at all, none of my friends were into rap like that so word of mouth (no luda’s last good album) didn’t really come into play.

@ yaboy & big homie–
I caught enough classic stuff, but I missed out on others.. I just wasn’t exposed (pause) to it, I guess.
Honestly tho’, i loved rap, but I didn’t become all about it to where I’d cop albums from artists I never heard more than 2 songs from or started reading about it until I started messing around with rapping.. til then I caught what I caught, liked what I liked, and didn’t really worry about the rest.
That’s still true to some extent.. but to question my appreciation for the culture? That’s insane. I just happen to have my favorites and the ones I can sorta dig and I don’t sweat the other stuff.

The Internet needs to be moderated….No Communism…but this shit is ridiculous…

But I think IP’s should really be traced…because a lot of people hide behind their names…
Bottomline is, you talk behind the computer screen and type on the keyboard…because it is ultimately safe…
I know Greenie…or anyone for that matter…wouldn’t talk shit around a bunch of dudes….drunk, high off that weed, wylin’…looking for hoes…
because one or two things can happen when ignant niggaz is around…
1. She will get smacked
2. She will get raped (god forbid)
3. She will get verbally abused….
Greenie if you were smart you would bite your tongue, walk away…and do like your normally do…
Save your words for until you get home, type out your anger on your blog, and attack people via the world wide web…
I expect it for you…because you’re a female…
but any dude that goes by that code…..should perhaps look into a sex change….
