@ Ty– Screenplays and stuff might be the way to go.. you can cake off someone buying that, even if it never sees the light of day.

Plus–and I know this from my dabbling in putting out albums–just knowing you did something like that once could be rewarding enough, even if you can’t actually live off the money from it.

LF: Despite current rumors, marriage is actually NOT an outdated ritual….I went to a really nice wedding over the weekend and I think it is still possible to find someone to be perfectly happy with the rest of your life….so quit wasting your time with these slutatious whores….

^^Alright Segundo….it was cute the first time….but I have yet to display my “Jeet Kufi Do” ((c) Phuque Norris/Bruce Lee) skills that I picked up while traveling in China….

  9. Rey Says:

@ Ty– Dialogue is the toughest part.. Writing up the plots and whatever physical action (no ron jeremy) is easy, but to write interesting dialogue for a 22 minute sitcom, 44 minute drama, or 90 minute film is uber-tough.

I started a screenplay years ago–a decade ago, TBH–and I’m only like 3 scenes deep.

Still tho’, keep your focus and some positive people around you and knock that sumbitch out.

  10. tyrone biggums Says:

–just knowing you did something like that once could be rewarding enough, even if you can’t actually live off the money from it.

yeah like i said….i;m fairy comfortable now….and still got mad oil stocks to fall back on so i’m more worried about enjoying life ( fuck how corny that may sound i’m tired of working like a drone ) than money at this point

  11. Phuque Says:

One more thing, Ty.. The market for 90s nostalgia is gonna kick off any second now..

The 80s nostalgia wave is being done to death already, but if you set something against the backdrop of like 97? Fuhgeddaboudit.

All the kids my age (class of 98) have done the college thing, done the career thing, starting the marriage thing, and are all reverting or reminiscing on that junior year time before life got hectic and cynical.

My story is set back around then too, but the decade’s plenty big enough for two fictional stories.

Honest truth, Black Moon’s “Enter Da Stage” had the Wu-Tang grimey, unfinished sound before the Wu ever did it. ^ nah, i just use word. ive seen some demos of the other software, and it seems like alot of hype, like these companies are trying to convince you that you need this software in order to write a script- when you really dont need more than pen and paper. i mean its not rocket science, no big formulas involved where a specific software will make it easier. the way i see it- the only way software will really make any kind of creative writing easier is if it write it for you.

CNN) — A girl’s feet were cut off Thursday when a free-fall thrill ride malfunctioned at the Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park in Louisville, Kentucky, police said.

A cord wrapped around the 16-year-old’s feet and severed them at her ankles while she was on the “Superman Tower of Power,” a police dispatcher said. The girl was taken to a local hospital.

An unidentified witness told CNN affiliate WLKY she saw a cable on the ride snap.

“The people on the ride just came and hit the ground,” she said. “When I got up there, the lady she was just sitting there, and she didn’t have no legs. … And she was just there, calm, probably in shock from everything.”

“That could have been all of us — riding that ride,” witness Whitney Sandfer told CNN affiliate WDRB/WMYO.

The incident took place shortly before 5 p.m. ET, according to Six Flags spokeswoman Wendy Goldberg. The park remained open, but the ride in question was shut down and will remain so until the full investigation is complete, Goldberg said.

During the ride, passengers are lifted to 177 feet, suspended momentarily and then dropped, according to the park’s Web site.

Passengers drop 154 feet at 54 mph, stopping “just 20 terrifying feet above the pavement,” it adds.

“I seen the car go up. Then, like, the cable broke, I heard — pwchh — and I heard a lot of people screaming,” Chris Stinnett, who was at a ride next to the Superman Tower of Power, told WDRB/WMYO.

“The cable went under the car — and I seen it pull up and hit a lot of people — and I seen them bring their legs up,” Stinnett said.

The ride was introduced in 1995.

Ty there is more than enough time in a day to chase a million dreams and keep a steady gig…word. Prioritize brotha.

i’m no good at that… i work 9 -10 hours and just wanna relax and chill afterwords….plus i usually got errands to run back and forth….only way i can do what i really want is unemployeed…if i wanna do it right and before i’m 50

^ im with ty… you putting in 50+ hours a week literally all you are doing is chasing.. no matter how you prioritize, there just arent enough hours in the day when you got that j-o requiring the bulk of em.

@ Greenie - you ever use scriptwriting software? If so which program?

^ nah, i just use word. ive seen some demos of the other software, and it seems like alot of hype, like these companies are trying to convince you that you need this software in order to write a script- when you really dont need more than pen and paper. i mean its not rocket science, no big formulas involved where a specific software will make it easier. the way i see it- the only way software will really make any kind of creative writing easier is if it write it for you.

^all depends on if your trying to submit to hollywood or film and produce yourself. Hollywood wont even look at a script if its not in the correct format. The software allows you to write in correct format by just using the tab key and space bar. Also it has built in macros that remembers characters names scenes headings and such,.so you dont have to re-type alot of stuff.
