back then. I think I’ve proven to be a fan of mostly conscious, lyrical MCs, a fan of big orchestral-to-poppy (without being insulting to my intelligence) beats…

So if I missed a few, it’s cuz I listened to music for entertainment back then, and I just didn’t dig some of it.

Dude.. I heard “eye for an eye” back in 1995. I don’t even remember how it sounds. Back then I was still playing Chronic & Doggystyle like nobody’s business, and on MTV was either Big Poppa or motherfucking TLC..

I didn’t like the beats back then.. I haven’t heard anything from that since that first time.

Look, some classic stuff stuck right away– Wu, Dre, ‘Pac, Bad Boy… Some stuff didn’t, and Mobb just didn’t.
