trae is the truth… i did community service with his younger brother also, cool ass people and real as fuck, trae is one of the underrated H-Town rappers that DESERVES to blow up…others on the list include:
1. 50/50 Twin – used to be and i think still is part of Chamillionaire’s C.C.C. crew, sadly he is basically too “street” and “real” to ever blow up, his twin brother is locked up and will be for a looooonnng ass time
2. Magno aka Magnificent – he used to be a Swisha House duo w/Mike Jones back when Jones was half-way decent (before he blew up), as a foreshadowing to what he would later do with Swisha House as a whole, Jones got greedy and wanted more of the cut and therefore ditched Magno and went solo, therefore screwing (no pun intended) over Magno
3. Z-Ro – basically is on the same level as Trae, they are good friends and have similar styles, if you love one you will 100% love the other if not more. i think he is still locked up but will be out very very soon.
4. Archie Lee – one of the only good rappers on Swisha House currently, he is raw as fuck, not too complicated but very very real and street and has a lot of catchy shit. also he is an H-Town veteran and has been around with Swisha House since DAY 1 unlike Mike Jones, he was also there before Paul Wall was, the first time.
5. Lil Keke – formerly from DJ Screw’s Screwed Up Click, he is now signed with Swisha House hoping the world will finally recognize his talent and he will blow up. One of the true OG’s of H-Town rap and the southside of town.
i woulda listed ESG but i personally think he fell off. most of the other H-Town greats are either dead (RIP Fat Pat & H.A.W.K. & DJ Screw) or are in jail or dissappeared.
bottom line, if you love Trae’s shit, check out the other 5 dudes cuz they are in the same vein i feel and far from the trash of Paul Wall & Mike Jones
