My opinion of Jay-Z and Nas is unbiased. I personally I think Jay-Z’s one verse on Takeover was more effective than Ether. (I’m talking effectiveness per bar — every bar was a devestating blow)… Ether was good, but some shit like “Cockafella” yeah, funny, but what’s the truth in that?

Takeover was FILLED with the truth. Since Nas spent a whole 3 verses on Jay-Z, Ether did win. But if Takeover was 3 verses on Nas… we’d be singing a different tune on that battle. The Super Ugly rebuttle was weak IMO though…

Who knows though, I always thought Canibus wrecked LL Cool J. But hiphop critics didn’t :/
