Jay - was never really a fan of that flow, whilst the common reminders of how broke I am

Free - his bar scheme is better than Jays, but the lyrics are “eh”

Track - would probably sound better if the Clipse rapped over it (We Got It 4 Cheap, Vol. 3: The Spirit of Competition)

^Whichever school allows the most credits then finish there, which is what I’m doing. I’m finishing where I started and I’m already taking major classes. Just like you I did some college-hoppin’ but I knew I didn’t wanna have to take classes that I already took equivalents of at another school. Whichever gets you to commencement faster is the route to go. As for major, take somethin’ that you’re interested in. Forget about making money all together. The information will be easier to understand and you’d actually enjoy coming to class.

First of all every rapper doesen’t sound good acapella, if my memory serves me correctly I never heard a acapella rap album before & cass battle style is made to rap acapella, to puncuate on his punchlines. Before the free/cass battle every battle was done over beats (c) Eminem in rap olympics. Second free isnt a battle type rapper, that doesen’t take away from his overrall package (NH) as a rapper. His first album is better than both of cass albums combined & if you knew like I knew both of them was spittin written, it just that cass is a battle type dude, & free is more concerend on making songs (Which i would rather listen to, no one wants to ride in the whip listening to battles). ^Yep….you know what I call those type of verses, blank raps. Since I rap I know what goes on threw the avg rappers mind, they sit home & write raps with a ton of witty punchlines in them & leave themself space where they could incorperate what the dude is wearing, or throw there name in there somewhere. I gave mook alot of props in the Mook vs party arty battle at first cause he said

“You’d a known who was gonna win just off the names if you never seen us”

Since duke had one of the wackest names i’ve ever heard (Party arty) I thought that was really a freestyle, but when I heard him spit that same line in another battle I knew that 99.9% of battle dudes now a days prepare for battles with what I call “Blank raps”

on the G-unit thing, I actually didn’t think they were gonna fall the way they did, but I knew they weren’t gonna be as hot as they were when they first came out. I thought they would end up blending in with the rest of the mediocre rap crews/labels. By the time yayo’s album came out & when fiddy couldn’t destroy a rappers career with one song, I knew the regin of G-unit was slowing down. ^ as hard as it is for me to say nice things about curtis, this is true. and clueâ€™s mixapes really werent so much mixtapes as compliations of various artists; he featured any hot rapper, yeah Roc had first choice, but then he pulled in every other rapper making moves as well. 50 kept it focused on just G-Unit which made the buzz more than just white noise.

^Those Clue mixtapes shoulda been called the Friends of Jay-Z compilation.

Case in Point: Fabolous had a cameo appearance in Bleek’s “Ready For War” video, which is still one of my favorite tracks that gets me amped.

Some of the songs I really thought was fiddy till I heard the real version like “You should be here” & “Got me a bottle” & even then the 50 version would play in your head while the original song was playing.
