The shit ain’t wack. I wouldn’t even say sub par. It’s better than most the shit getting burn right now. And Capo’s a retard.
June 14th, 2007 at 1:51 am
A new joint venture of Warner Music Group Corp. and one of the most prominent managers in the music business is aiming to generate new revenue by linking musicians and corporate America. Brand Asset Group, as the newly formed venture with Chris Lighty, the manager of rapper 50 Cent, is called, aims to address one of the biggest complaints among record labels: Their inability to capitalize on lucrative revenue streams such as merchandise sales and image licensing that typically benefit artists and their managers.
The new venture doesn’t intend to limit its services to Warner Music artists. In fact, the company’s first deal is an 18- to 24-month endorsement relationship between General Motors Corp.’s Pontiac and 50 Cent, who records for Vivendi’s Universal Music Group. That means Warner Music will receive a portion of the income of a rapper who records for a rival label. Mr. Lighty said the relationship is expected to be broad — with 50 Cent possibly having input into the design of the car maker’s Pontiac G6 GXP Street edition and likely featuring the car in places such as music videos and the CD booklet for an album he is slated to release late this summer.

Nah I like Philly rap Sigel, Peedi Crakk, Philly’s Most Wanted, all of them but this song was wack. The lyrics were generic, the flows were decent and the beat was garbage.

The state Assembly passed a bill legalizing medical use of marijuana Wednesday, after about a decade of attempts to approve similar legislation in the state.
The bill allows caregivers and seriously ill patients with diseases like cancer or aids to register with the state to purchase up to two and half ounces of marijuana and grow up to a dozen plants.
“I think it’s important, among them now it’s up to the Republican state Senate to take on the controversial issue. The idea got a warm reception from Senate majority leader Joe Bruno, but he says that the assembly bill needs tighter controls,†said Sheldon Silver.
Now it’s up to the Republican State Senate to take on the controversial issue. The idea got a warm reception from Senate majority leader Joe Bruno, but he said that the Assembly bill needs tighter controls.
It looks like Medical Marijuana, will soon be legal in New York State. Thanks to an above face from Governor Spitzer. Our Molly Kroon has more on the bill.
“The Assembly bill doesn’t work but our bill will control how it gets out,†said Bruno.
Sponsors of the Senate bill said it could be introduced as early as Thursday and could explore the option of having the state’s health department grow and distribute the marijuana. But that would require federal approval, a big leap and a possible court battle. The Assembly bill allows patients to get the drug through dealers, although selling it would still be illegal.
Critics said patients already have access to legal drugs to combat pain and nausea. And the bill faces critics in the Senate, who said lawmakers should be addressing more pressing issues.
“It’s inappropriately, last thing we need to do. If both houses can agree on a compromise bill, Governor Spitzer, a former critic, now says he’s open to signing it into law,†Martin Golden said.

Peedi Crakk is dope but he needs to release more albums or at least mixtapes.
Lil’ Wayne is one of the very few mc’s that continuosly tries to improve, shows creativity, and has a good work ethic. He may be a homo but he’s a dope rapper.

I’m a fan of Fab’s music but he is one of the all time swagger jackers. His first single was a 2Pac hook with Nate Dog singing it(Fab ain’t from the West) and now that the south is popular he has Jeezy on the hook and he tries rhyming like Weezy.
June 14th, 2007 at 2:31 am

is that pressure from thr labels man
June 14th, 2007 at 2:33 am

A lot of Roc artists and east coast artists in general stole that flow from Young Chris. When is Grandpa Simpson gonna release another Young Gunz albums both of their cds where suprisingly good.
June 14th, 2007 at 2:45 am
so you’re saying all of 50’s singles aren’t trash?
^ No.. Ya heard me?…
Amusement Park followed the same (song type) format as the last 2 albums..(inda club, candy shop)
Straight to the Bank was good… and crazy downloaded on itunes…
fully loaded clip…interscope didn’t even release it… 50 leaked it as a street single…
June 14th, 2007 at 2:46 am
it goes deeper on jackin too.. production.. shit.. take a hot beat.. change the BPM.. change the 3rd n 7th note.. change the octave… throw some overused drums down on it.. change the pitch.. tempo.. call it a banger.. pass go.. collect 60k + points. listen to “Bitch get in my car” the guitar sounds alot like the piano in “without you” mary j’s monster song from last year.. and thats one example.. i catch them shits all the time.
June 14th, 2007 at 2:47 am
50 gonna make a couple new bangers and add it to the album…y’all (Eskay) making it into a big deal….blowing outta proportiong…

side note: When did that murda murda marcyville track drop.. he had that soft breathy flow on there gettin at nas when he dropped one mic.. that might predate young chris
June 14th, 2007 at 2:51 am
the songs weren’t trash…. and they weren’t the greatest 50 ever…you happy now?…

Show Me What You Got = Amusment Park
They both had corny hooks, forgettable verses, and both artists were outshined on those beats by other rappers. KC wasn’t that bad an album though.
June 14th, 2007 at 3:04 am
jay-z makes songs that are different, not afraid to try something new on an album, 50 makes cookie cutter songs, they all have same lyrical content same sing song chorus, starting to get old…..
June 14th, 2007 at 3:05 am

based on the pace he been on.. based on Jay got his last infusion of paper off the sale of roc a wear.. sure he gonna continue to earn.. and continue to get endorsements.. shit like that.. but his major earning.. seems to be over.. now its about investments.. of course im an outsider looking in.. even if my stool is a lil closer to the window than the average person. 50 got g unit.. the g unit catalog.. g unit clothing.. not to mention a few lucrative offers on the table.. and when it comes to rap.. at this current state.. you gonna tell me its not about paper? shit even on this wack ass freeway jay song.. jay talkin bout the phantom cause too many cats fathom what it is to have them.. the black album was top 5 albums all genres past 10 years hands down in my opinion.. but his “swan song” lead you to believe if he came back.. he’d be probably.. lyrically talib kweli. I don’t presume to tell you what the game means to me.. the same way I don’t assume that is what the game means to you.. it was a generalization based on the empirical lyrical shift of content.. what pops and sadly what doesn’t.
June 14th, 2007 at 3:06 am

Tou che.. but 50 did do in 2 or 3 what took jay 10.. that is partly because Jay opened the doors for him.. but that is mostly cause he a beast on his hustle.. thas it. Who is a better artist.. Jay.. more money .. Jay.. More earning power.. Jay.. More hunger.. 50.. I’m jus sayin.. i mean personally i don’t know them and vice versa.. Maybe Jay got you on the S. I don’t wear any clothing by rappers personally, but I really hope you’re kidding. G-Unit clothing is made by fucking Marc Ecko. it’s basically the same low budget nonsense you see at Dr. Jay’s under various different names. I was in Macy’s the other day and all of that shit was on clearance cuz wasn’t nobody buying it. At least I can say that I’ve seen Rocawear shit that if I had no choice, I would wear outside. I’d rather go naked that rocking that G-Unit bullshit.

50 Cent was hot. If you’ve been fuckin hip hop since at least 94 or 95 there was a mufucka named Puff Daddy who was also hot. Jay is a rappers’ rapper and a hustlers’ hustler. 50 will NEVER have the money Jay got, RESPECT neither.

What “vacant lot” did they find Dame Grease for this one?
I hope this is one of the worst tracks of the album, because if it’s one of the best…
Jay - was never really a fan of that flow, whilst the common reminders of how broke I am
Free - his bar scheme is better than Jays, but the lyrics are “eh”
Track - would probably sound better if the Clipse rapped over it (We Got It 4 Cheap, Vol. 3: The Spirit of Competition)
Overall: 2.5/5

Iraqis Accuse U.S. Of Bombing Shrine
Body: Iraqis Accuse U.S. Of Bombing Shrine
Both Sunnis and Shia say bombing a plot to incite sectarian violence
Steve Watson
Prison Planet
Wednesday, June 13, 2007
Both Sunni and Shias Iraqis have accused the U.S. of being behind the bombing the al-Askari shrine in Samarra, one of the holiest Shia religious sites, in order to further incite sectarian violence between the two rival Islamic groups and provide a justification for the American surge.
Sunni Muslim leaders belonging to the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq have questioned how terrorists could get access to the site which has been heavily guarded by about 60 Federal Protection Service forces and 25 local Iraqi police and closed to the public since it was attacked last year in a bombing which many also believed to be the work of US forces.

^Whichever school allows the most credits then finish there, which is what I’m doing. I’m finishing where I started and I’m already taking major classes. Just like you I did some college-hoppin’ but I knew I didn’t wanna have to take classes that I already took equivalents of at another school. Whichever gets you to commencement faster is the route to go. As for major, take somethin’ that you’re interested in. Forget about making money all together. The information will be easier to understand and you’d actually enjoy coming to class.

Stat Quo>T.I.
^And it’s not even close. But the only problem is that Stat does street joints and we know the execs aint pushin’ those. Plus any ninja that can go bar-for-bar with Grafh gets my vote.

Its just the way Free lost. He was beggin for a beat to be put on cuz he knew that what he was spittin acapella was garbage. The beats have always been saving Freeway. He really is garbage.
^SMFH, fall back billz, I got em. First of all every rapper doesen’t sound good acapella, if my memory serves me correctly I never heard a acapella rap album before & cass battle style is made to rap acapella, to puncuate on his punchlines. Before the free/cass battle every battle was done over beats (c) Eminem in rap olympics. Second free isnt a battle type rapper, that doesen’t take away from his overrall package (NH) as a rapper. His first album is better than both of cass albums combined & if you knew like I knew both of them was spittin written, it just that cass is a battle type dude, & free is more concerend on making songs (Which i would rather listen to, no one wants to ride in the whip listening to battles). Third if your judging free of that battle then you lost big time, yeah he lost, but who doesen’t take a L? He didn’t even lose that bad IMO cause I already heard everything they both spit EVERYTHING, from the “crack your head like sunflower seeds” all that, my first time looking @ it I was rappin both of there shits, real talk. Free’s body of work (No luthur rignor) is waaaaaaay better than cass, all cass got under his belt (NH) is really good freestyles IMO that’s messing rap up, niggas a come @ you like “I got a hot 16″ Where’s the rest of the song? While free has a classic album, been on numorus classic albums from both state P albums, to jay-z albums & held his own, while cass has songs like “get no better” & “Hotel” in his catalog GTFOH

^ nah, sorry, i didnt see it lasting long term at any point. 50 was too strong, it was always him; the others had a bit of shine here and there but it was always obvious theyd never be able to stand alone, and quite frankly 50’s own ego never really allowed anyone else to fully step from his shadow and prove themseves enough as individuals. A successful dynasty is made up of many powerful people, each bringing something very specific to the table, and yet, even those ultimately fall.

^^It used to be, but not now (in most cases)..? Most of these rappers write out their lyrics before hand, but since nobody has ever heard them said before, the rapper pretends like the rhymes were developed in the heat of the battle..
^Yep….you know what I call those type of verses, blank raps. Since I rap I know what goes on threw the avg rappers mind, they sit home & write raps with a ton of witty punchlines in them & leave themself space where they could incorperate what the dude is wearing, or throw there name in there somewhere. I gave mook alot of props in the Mook vs party arty battle at first cause he said
“You’d a known who was gonna win just off the names if you never seen us”
Since duke had one of the wackest names i’ve ever heard (Party arty) I thought that was really a freestyle, but when I heard him spit that same line in another battle I knew that 99.9% of battle dudes now a days prepare for battles with what I call “Blank raps”

>>Admit it everyone was thinking G-Unit was the next shit back in the day….the absolute earliest anyone could have predicted the fall off was after 21 Questions dropped as a single…but even then there was still Banks and Buck to come…plus people had forgotten how bad Yayo sucked during his time clutching the soap tightly so people thought he might be good….(No I tried my best)
^^As soon as The Massacre dropped I sensed an ending for G Unit as a whole (no Callmenowwforyerrbumbaclockreadin’). There’s a downhill pattern in Hip-hop nowadays that is rarely avoided by rappers….Rapper A blows up, brings Rapper B,C,D and Singer E along with him…”general public” ((c) Curtis) views B,C,D,E as being under A’s umbrella (no whatshername), usually nothing more….no matter how dope the record, they’ll always be seen as Rapper A’s lil soldier…there have been cases where this has proved false, but like I said….it’s rare. Therefore when you cut off the head, the body falls as well…R.I.P. G Unit Records, clothing, etc…

I thought they would end up blending in with the rest of the mediocre rap crews/labels. By the time yayo’s album came out & when fiddy couldn’t destroy a rappers career with one song, I knew the regin of G-unit was slowing down. I’m convinced y’all just don’t like Jay-Z. Which is cool if you’ll admit that but you prolly have bricks for ears if you think his verse or Free’s for that matter was anywhere near wack. Seriously.
Like y’alls fave rappers right now are flowing this way:
I 7 4 the 5
Hov’s dough is on autopilot I don’t even drive
in the ‘bach with my shoes up
I just took back the phantom
Too many f***z could fathom what it felt like to have ‘em
I just copped me of all things, a professional ball team
Tell me I ain’t the illest hustler y’all seen
When you don’t buy out the bar
You buy the bar, guess what you’re called…

first and foremost, Jim Jones is a worthless rapper who cant even be called an MC… his rhymes are wack: chillin on the eastside, bitch in the car as we ride, BALLIN!!! thats just how he sounds… and its HORRIBLE!! these dipset niggas are garBAGE except for juelz and hell rell, and they promote gang violence which is not hip hop… a bitch dont wanna hear that shit all the time!!! LIL WAYNE…. cannot be fucked wit, but he gotta learn how to come up outta that street, ghetto persona, and rise above the bullshit… only then will he be eligible to TRY to knock Jay-Z from his throne…. now on to the song… This new freeway track is FIRE!!! everyone in the tri state area is requesting it on the radio crazy, and Jay just makes every song he’s on a hit…. Im hopin this is another good freeway album comin up cuz if not……
