^very true Skee. I wonder when we’ll ever hear an album from young talented artists like Grafh, Sai, Pap and Budden’s second. Something has got to change.
so there is still hope for hip-hop…man thats the bestaticle on anything i’ve read in well prbably forever…good ridance 50 for once the label is right….your done you got like 6 loyal soldiers left and they are all named 2 x’s…go retire somewhere with all that money
… i liked this grafh verse the first time i heard it on the hip-hop is dead beat…hold up ok he expanded on that shit…grafh is sick easily one of the most slept on…and dudes flow is something crazy…
” what would happen if i battled hova, this verse would blow the 4.6 off the back of that rova ” ….blackhand label we are the gang
50’s album may never come out. Somewhere out there right now Two-Time’s hair is turning grey. It’s a shame that Interscope wants 50 to dumb down even further. Major labels are killing the game for real.

never…well maybe grafh on koch he isnt tied up on some shit…hopefully once curtis flops or he bugs the fuck out labels will go back to focusing on good hip-hop and not worry about that poppy garbage
Ty, what’s going on? What’s keeping Grafh from releasing an album? Is he trying to find someone to distribute his album? I can’t remember if he’s on a major label or not.
Yo Grafh’s last mixtape was actually good. I like dukes style too (NH), the joint he did some years back with Jay-Z called ‘Stuck with this knife and pipe’ was hot too
And i think 50 is gonna be the 1st rapper to ever get away with not doing what a major label wants him to do. He is one of the few relevant rappers of today with serious lawyer money to fight for anything he believes. He might actually win. FIGHT THE POWER!!!

^^^^Word!!…. these dudes dont need a major. Fuck the majors and just put shit out yourself, and go on Tour!!
I’ll take 7 emcees, put ‘em in a line
And add 7 more brothers, who think they can rhyme
Well it’ll take 7 more before I go for mine
That’s 21 emcees ate up at the same time…
whats good g 7…i’m not sure what exactly is holding grafh up…i know he has the situation with blackhand entertainment…but as far as i know they arent tied up with a major label yet…i dont know if they are shopping him or waiting for koch…but at a certain point its like release a damn album already ( even though i forgot grafh did leak an free album a couple months back that was supposed to be a preview of his actual album so i guess we should hear something soon )
>>one of u likes canibus rite? one of the first tracks that made me a pap fan for life was a freestyle with canibus that he did. limewire that shit….
^I got that. The freestyle over Talib’s Gorilla Monsoon Rap. They both killed it. Pap’s debut verse is one of the best I’ve ever heard. “Home Sweet Funeral Home” on Kool G Rap’s Roots of Evil album. Crazy verse!!

*presses sarcasm button at rapid speeds*
I kinda agree with lord comments, but it’s a thin line with being true to yourself & being dissrespectful. I guess a couple people feel he crossed that line. For further reference I wasen’t one of those people. I had a friend that got killed last month, is his life less important cause he didn’t drop a mixtape? Of course not, but a mother had to bury there son, just like stacks mother has to do in the near future. My father always said we mourn in our own way, some mourn a day, some a lifetime, but we can’t tell another person how to mourn, so if lord feels a R.I.P isnt needed from him in a blog, so be it, but stacks music could’ve touched some of the people on this blog so we can’t take shots @ them either.

and apparently lebron doesnt care about winning…he is more concerned with his teammates not feeling left out…for some reason lebron has confidence in them…why does he keep pasing to donyell marshall ( i’d ask why he is even still on the team but i realize mike brown is retarded )….and wtf is wrong with them why in the world did they not post lebron up every time down the court… lebron and elton were the 2 biggest dudes on the loor for a good chunk and half the time lebron doesnt even touch the ball, thats unexcusable they needed to post him up every time down the court and work from there who is gonna stop lebron on the block especially if duncan is out of the game……………….fire mike brown….and someone make lebron be selfish let him know his team is awful

I hate the San Antonio Spurs and always will, unless Greg Popovich saves my brother from a fire or something equally heroic.
Speakin’ of Tyler Perry, I was watchin’ Bamboozled for like the 4th time the other day. Tommy Davidson’s character was bar none the best performance of all his shows/movies. Especially when he went into that slave dialogue.
And Charli Baltimore could still get it. Just off the strength off her last name (which is a just a stage name and based off a real mob gangsta, but still…)
>”The public didn’t respond well to the first two singles [Amusement Park and Straight to the Bank]
^That’s fucked up, Amusement park was just starting to pick up steam, it’s been in the top 3 @ 106, & TRL for the past 2 weeks. I think it was a bad move to release 2 singles at the same time, it’ll confuse the fan base his music is marketed to (Dorky white kids & CB4 gusto like thugs). Straight to the bank isnt that good period, he should’ve left that on the cutting board. SMH, I was actually kinda anticipating to hear what his new album was gonna sound like.

^Ty the theory I think im sticking with is that we, the audience gets wacked. we got wacked while we was watching, as avid followers we became imbedded as characters. When the screen goes blank, each one of the viewers took one to the temple.

^ i personally like tats, dont hae any, but like em. Alot of religins have some type of rule against altering the body/temple; what cracks me up is when you see someone claiming to very devout and religious all tatted up, its like “man did you just skip over that part?”

… word … polka dots was mad cool back in the 80’s … EVERYONE wore them shits, prolly Ed too … with them hi-top Gumby fades … smh …
^Ty the theory I think im sticking with is that we, the audience gets wacked. we got wacked while we was watching, as avid followers we became imbedded as characters. When the screen goes blank, each one of the viewers took one to the temple.
yup i agree…like i said yesterday i think he was showing us his paranoid point of view and life will go on for him but not for us… the best part about what chase said is he wasnt trying to leave it open he thought people would get it…it took awhile and i couple watches but i get it…pure genius if you ask me but hey maybe i’m buggin out maybe i’m on a spaceship….its been known to happen

I just ask cuz I was curious.. I have one tat now but I’m very strongly thinking about getting another one.. The first one means “highest love and devotion to God†in sanskrit, and I want the second one to say “Love Hope and Faithâ€â€“it’s based on a charm my mom bought me for my chain, and I think it’s a pretty cool way to give praise.
^ i personally like tats, dont hae any, but like em. Alot of religins have some type of rule against altering the body/temple; what cracks me up is when you see someone claiming to very devout and religious all tatted up, its like “man did you just skip over that part?â€
***
That’s true.. I’m sure there are conflicting thoughts on that tho’ in religious circles.. My friend at work is a very devout born again christian (wicked sense of humor tho’, you guys’d like him–nh) and he doesn’t have any issues with tattoos, he’s looking to get one.
I’m pretty sure God is more mellow than that tho’, especially if it’s one praising Him.
In any event, I gotta talk to some work people cuz this next one is gonna be on my left forearm, all visible and junk.

One of the funniest episodes of martin is the episode when martin thought one of his friends stole his new CD player, & he held a meeting over his house a la New jack city style, everyone had to wear black & he was walking around with the fake dog, come to find out bro man took it cause he had a date. Classic

I just ask cuz I was curious.. I have one tat now but I’m very strongly thinking about getting another one.. The first one means “highest love and devotion to God” in sanskrit, and I want the second one to say “Love Hope and Faith”–it’s based on a charm my mom bought me for my chain, and I think it’s a pretty cool way to give praise.
